I like the location which is very central. I like the Room, it retained the old style look with modern updates and very clean. I was going to use the Swimming Pool but it is unwelcoming... concrete floor with NO landscaping. I did not expect that... plus the pool is very dirty... it was 3 pm and it seems nobody attended the pool. The gym is ok but the bike is broken.... sad. Valet Parking only... 54USD Tax...a night. very steep. Restaurant....

Fairmont Dallas and its team are worth the visit, what a fabulous experience! We stayed 2 nights, and by the end of our check in we’re on first name basis with the team. Everyone from valets to concierge to check in team to bellhop, all were tremendous and exceptional in their roles. Of particular note is Phillip (Concierge) who gave us the BEST tips on places to go, with gift cards for some local venues as well, a true professional who exemplifies what a truly brilliant concierge is. We love you Phillip!! Ervin was excellent and efficient with our luggage; Aisa (I think?) in the bar was attentive and efficient on a busy Thursday evening, providing table service to the approximately 30-40 people in the area and whisking away empty glasses when needed. Maryjane at check in gave some good recommendations, especially for dinner (Dakota’s was sublime!) The Fairmont management team should be super proud of their team, it was the best hotel accommodation we had stayed in during our month-long trip in USA. Highly recommend 👌👌👌

Overated and extremely overpriced

The hotel is nice, but for the price I expected at least frig and microwave to be in the room already and not have to request them. The bathroom left a lot to be desired, needs updating: not enough counter space and the tub was extremely tiny. The tv situation definitely needs to be upgraded. Some chanelshad weak signals and the Google chromecast process was a chore, too many steps to enjoy a leisurely experience of such a high dollar hotel. And we experienced the worst service coming back to park after midnight. The parking attendant was not professional. We needed up waiting outside close to 15 minutes to get our parking issue resolved before going up to our room. Im ok with exploring other lodging accommodations if we stay downtown dallas again.

The staff was very nice. Valet parking was convenient and was well staffed but an extra cost. It was a downtown location. It would be nice if they had suggestions for places to go for travelers, not sure if there brochures, entry was beautiful and we took many photos there.
