They didn’t have basic things like extra pillows, or toothpaste. The pillows were very flat, which made us regret extending the stay before checking in for the first night. The day staff was kind, but the night staff was rude and dismissive.

My stay at Sonesta Simply Suites was a mixed bag. When I reserved my room, my wife and I expected the hotel to be the following: - Primarily a hotel, not a long-term residency. The staff told me the hotel had people residing there for years, which was unexpected; - The room would be cleaned somewhat regularly. The staff told me the rooms would only be cleaned every seven days; we stayed five days and had to maintain the room on our own, including vacuuming; - Provide unfettered access to the gym. Every time we used the gym, we had to get the desk clerk to let us in the room. - The staff to be consistently helpful. When we checked in, the young lady on the desk (Azaria), when queried, was somewhat surly. I had to check in to gain access to use facilities, when I needed new linen, she was unhelpful, and when I asked about the remote to the television in the gym, she told me they did not have one, despite, when I asked the previous day, another desk clerk (Viviana) was able to have maintenance provide the remote and set the television. Viviana was also very pleasant and helpful every time we encountered her. I will only stay at this hotel again in an emergency. This was a most disconcerting experience.
