Mother daughter weekend

This was a mother/ daughter weekend with my daughter and her best friend and her mom. It was the perfect location for us. Private, beautiful surroundings, and many surrounding hidden gems!! Would recommend this to anyone that wants to connect and have quality time. Great place - so glad we found this ♥️

Tucker Dog Experience

We all enjoyed this cozy unit. Our 96 yr old friend said the showers needed handicapped bars for easier access. This may be of future benefit for the owners as well. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed Beaver Ridge and esp. Tucker Dog.

Best of Canaan folks are always the best to check with--friendly, professional, cooperative, accurate. The Rucker Dog condo is a particularly nice spot--right on the parking level, but with a nice view! And everything you'd need. And extra supplies if needed in the closets.Highly recommended!

Our stay went well. The condo was a bit outdated, but it was clean and was fine for us. Everything we needed was in the condo. The Kuerig coffeemaker did leak, but there was a Mr. Coffee, so we were fine. The only thing i would change, qould be the AC. We could not get the temp below 74. It was not unbearable, but it was warmee than we wanted.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beaver Ridge 112 ("Tucker Dog") is a great place to stay--all the amenities you could wish for at a good price. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, it's especially well appointed for a family. Since it's on the parking lot level, the access is easy if stairs are an issue, and the view is excellent even though it's not at the top. It's managed by Best of Canaan, which, based on my long experience visiting the Valley, really is the best.

I had trouble with the Roku TV setup, but luckily I didn't come up here for TV. Wifi was blazing fast. I also highly recommend Canaan Valley for a getaway. And Beaver Ridge is ideally located--in the Valley but close to the town of Davis.

Ski Trip

We are a family of 5 and this spot was great for us. The kitchen was equipped which made meals easy. All linens were provided making the stay that much easier when it came to packing. We stayed here for our ski trip to Timberline Mountain and will definitely book again.
