We had a comfortable stay in a town that was heavily booked for the weekend. The Birch was nice but not at the level we were expecting for the money we paid. We like walking to town but there werenât foot paths and guttering in the area we stayed, which in a town of this age was surprising. The bathroom fan was not usable. The bathroom door was not the best. Fluffy mats and pillows are not the cleanest things to use in a holiday rental. The decor of old suitcases was a bit out of date and with that type of clutter cleaning is more difficult. It was great to be warm and have electric blankets, thank you. The Birch had good appliances and comfortable chairs. So we were comfortable and warm and thatâs what mattered in winter in Daylesford.
Amazing place quite comfortable great relaxing very clean however was a little disappointed that there was no oven or hotplate otherwise great getaway đ
