We arrived for a four day stay in a king suite. There were no linens for the pull out sofa and only 2 pillows on the bed. We spoke to the front desk employee who explained there were none left but he would see what he could do. He managed to find us sheets and a blanket that was damp and unusable. There were no more pillows but he told us to come back and ask again the next day. We asked and the two employees we spoke too said they would find them and bring them to our room. When we returned that evening we still did not have any pillows in addition our trash had not been emptied or towels replaced. There was no sign stating that they should be saved or how often housekeeping came. We went back to the desk to ask for towels and the pillows. We were again told there was none, we said ok and said we would just go buy some at Walmart and then he said he would find us some. He did manage to find two more. The next day again the trash wasnât emptied or towels replaced, we asked the front desk and they told us we wouldnât receive housekeeping until day 4 and that it was doubletreeâs policy unless we requested it. So we did. They did come the next day but only emptied one of the trash cans and still only left 2 towels. It was clear that they were in the middle of a remodel of some of the rooms. There were pieces of painters tape left in our room and the hot and cold water were backwards in the shower.
