Only complaints I have was there there was no coffee. There was 2 coffee machines, just no coffee to put in. The house is very very cute. It kind of feels nostalgic, like traveling to a vacation house in the 90s. I loved it. Comfortable, safe,
Cute and cozy property with great parking for a trailer. We were overall pleased with our stay. However Upstairs is small with very low ceiling. Had to actually duck to get into one of the bedrooms. Would still recommend this place to friends
The location was close to stores but the neighborhood was a little sketchy. If we were all a group of women I wouldnât have stayed. This definitely was not a 4 bedroom home the top 2 âbedroomsâ did not have any privacy as you had to walk through the first sleeping area to get to the 2nd and then the 2nd area didnât have a door. The upstairs bathroom well⊠if you are taller then 5â5 you had to duck so you wouldnât bump your head in the shower. It also stunk like sewer and you could actually see outside light coming in from the shower walls! Also the ceiling was very low! The pictures showed this a lot over then it actually was. The cabinets in kitchen were dingy and doors were actually falling off. The couches were so broke in you felt like youâd sink in. Definitely will not go back.
This house is 3.5 miles from the beach and 3 miles from I-95 and .3 from grocery stores, restaurants and a large gas station, and only 1 street off from the main SR44. 2 bedrooms and a full bath downstairs. The furniture is a bit dated but functional. The kitchen had what we needed for a 6 week stay that included cooking meals. The upstairs is one big open area in a horseshoe shape with 2 sleeping areas. The ceiling and shower upstairs are low, which makes it best suited for kids. The beds are comfortable but things are not quite as updated up there, except for the digital thermometer shower with amazing water pressure (but you have to be 4'8" or less to be able to stand up in the shower). We had the 2 window AC units running every night up there in February. Overall, we were happy with the house. There was a maintenance issue early on and the property manager was responsive, and the owner made sure it was resolved to our satisfaction. There is an unheated pool that we didn't use since we were there in an unusually cold spell.
Great location, very friendly host. Property is outdated and has a stale smell, we purchased air fresheners. While you could tell the property had been cleaned the carpet needs to be replaced as we wore socks/shoes the whole time due to the âstickyâ feeling.
This property was rented for our workers stay in Edgewater. We canceled stay due to their discomfort in this location.
Our team found another place with great conditions where they have a good rest time after daily work.
Very easy to communicate with property owner. House was very clean and smelled amazing. A ton of towels and the pool was great. If we ever come back to the area. I would definitely look this place up again.
The kitchen was not well cleaned⊠there was mold in the coffee makers coffee filter and the blinds behind sink were dirty. The upstairs was very warm with Window AC units to provide cooling, and one sleeping area was very tight to walk to with a low slanted ceiling and a it was a small and hot upstairs bathroom. The pool was attached to a different home occupied by people but was a nice size and clean. The downstairs double twin bed room had what appeared to be a nursing home type bed mattress underneath a regular mattress, and there was old food in the bed sheets. It was not what I was expecting. Definitely to provide a more thorough cleaning service
Convenient location. The main floor was really cute and just about anything you might want, they provided it. The mattresses were okay, not great. Good water pressure in the main bath shower. The ac on the main floor was awesome. The living room furniture was comfortable. There's 4 tvs on the main floor. The fans were a nice addition for sleeping. There were ample dishes, glasses, towels, etc. We looked at the shared pool area. It was clean and the pool looked nice. It was nice to have a private driveway. We visited for a local event. If we had more downtime we would have liked to made use of the picnic table, two grills, cute front porch. Some of the blinds are out of shape and could stand to be replaced.
We didnât need to use the 2 bedrooms or bath upstairs. But I don't think I'd want to as it was a little spooky trying to find the lights, the floor didnât feel even under the carpet, it was still warm even with the window acs on, and the hardware in the shower makes it hard for people over 5' 6" to use it.
The property was wonderful with so many options of accomodations and space both indoors and outdoors. It is perfect for groups to cook, play and swim together.
The property manager introduced herself and was friendly and helpful.
This is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and shops while having them just down the street.
Overall great stay. I would power wash the pool area. The spider webs hanging from the celling was really uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if something was going to drop on me or in the water.
The place had a ton of space, inside and outside! Very clean, more towel than I have ever seen, it was stocked with TP and laundry detergent! The driveway was able to fit 5 cars. And more spaces on the lawn! Definitely would recommend!
Communication, coordination, admin, etc w/the owner and VRBO was flawless. Location is near most amenities and main roads for easy access. House itself is just old. Interior is dated - old furniture, kitchen appliances, etc. Exterior looks fine from a distance. A/C worked fine. Generally the house was clean but paper towels used to blot up a small amount of water spilled on the blue high shag carpet came out literally brown w/whatever came up w/the water. Lots of clean utensils in the kitchen but the coffee makers were so gross that even after trying to clean them up we went out each day for coffee. I guess the market supports the pricing but this wasnât worth what I paid.
House was dingy. Upstairs attic bedroom space was dangerous. Only one bedroom had a closet. One bedroom was at the end of the kitchen with no privacy. Upstairs bathroom was extremely small, men had to shave in the downstairs bathroom. Used soap and body wash left in shower. Refrigerator was noisy. Coffee pot was dirty. Would not stay here again
Excellent communication. Provided a high chair and pack n play for our infants⊠THANK YOU! The only issue we had was with the upstairs bedrooms/bath. As reported ceilings were low and lightning was either low or very bright. Additionally, the two window air conditioning units were noisy. Also the upstairs bathroom uses a pump for the toilet and shower drain. Quite noisy.
The downstairs spaces were very accommodating. If only downstairs spaces are used I would give 5 stars!
Wounderful area, awesome host, friendly setvice. Even though there was a minor hiccup she addressed is quickly and was very professional about it. Even though it was not resolved immediately she was awseome about everything. Kim is a great property manager
