We loved Sand Castle, we were greeted by friendly staff who let us check in early so we could enjoy the pool. The motel was a little older but rooms were clean and comfortable, beautiful location, great pool and beachfront. Easy free parking for guests and lots of restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. It was a great few days and we would definitely stay again. Thank you. 😊

Midcentury motel that’s seen a lot of hurricanes. Changes in travel tastes have left these mom-n-pop operations behind. The room is clean, quiet, and somewhat randomly appointed. If you absolutely need workout facilities or a free breakfast, go to a chain hotel and pay double or triple. If you want an ocean view and easy beach access, stay here. Note that Volusia County too almost all their parking lot—so if you are the sixth or seventh guest, you may have to pay the county fee just to park in front of your room.

Rooms were very dated, needing some repair such as hot water faucet in bathroom was broken off the sink. So only cold water. Bed was very comfortable and the pool looked nice, too cold to swim. Gteat location. All in all you get what you pay for.

Definitely owns up to the name, The Sand Crapper Motel . Both beds had sand in them, stains on the comforter, slick greasy tile floor similar to Mc Donald’s or Burger King
