Appreciated the number of beds for our larger group. House is closer to the shops downtown, and area attractions. House was clean, host was friendly and responded promptly to questions about the website. Would definitely stay again.
Our family with three kids, 10, 9, & 6, loved staying at this house. The chickens, the pond, the hammock, and the marvelous massage chair were a hit with everyone. We hope we can stay here again!
This house was charming! Our group of 9 women on a girls' trip were able to get together and stay comfortably in this beautiful cozy house. There was room for all of us to gather in the living room, play games at the dining room table, and make all of our appetizers in the kitchen. There were also enough spaces to spread out to read a book and take a nap when we wanted some downtime. Not to mention that we all got to relax in the incredible massage chair! It was a great place to stay and connect with one another!
Our group enjoyed the stay. Plenty to do in Decorah at Seed Savers Exchange, Norwegian Museum and Toppling Goliath Brewery for lunch. House well appointed. We used the firepit and could have used a bit more dry wood and more seating. Overall great stay!
Overall a good stay! Massage chair was a nice bonus. Kitchen was under stocked which was a bummer as we wanted to cook meals. Nice spaces for sleeping.
My five brothers and four sisters-in-law had a great three night stay at Jackson's and Amy's place just north of downtown Decorah. We were all comfortably housed. The kitchen was up to snuff for our cooking needs. The beds were great. And the fire pit at night was glorious. The house itself is a charmer, and it was a wonderful value. Many thanks to our hosts!
We really enjoyed staying at this cozy home. Very spacious. The backyard was gorgeous - very enjoyable to sit outside back there. There was also a fantastic massage chair- unlike any Iâve tried before. We would definitely stay again!
It was a very nice property. Lots of attention to detail, cleanliness, appliances, seating and bedrooms. All great. We used it for family reunion to tube down Upper Iowa River.Nice patio and backyard. Not an easy place to take a walk directly from the property.
House had great space for sleeping and was eclectic. Very cute decorations. Stairs to lower level were steep so a bit difficult for a few to traverse. Outdoor space was nice however most of the outdoor chairs were broken so inable to use.
Came to town to do some fall hiking with some family and friends. The house was perfect for the little boys. They loved the hill in the backyard and the adults loved the firepit. The house is much larger inside than it appears from the outside. We had a great visit and experience at this house.
