House was clean, attractive, convenient --- once the host responded, ninety minutes after contact, and told us how to unlock the locked thermostat, set firmly at sixty-five degrees when the outdoor temp was thirty-nine.
The house was well taken care of on inside but the a/c was not working correctly. They did try to repair but were unable to while we were there. Also had issues with septic, when you flushed the toilets , it would back up into both showers leaving a stinking mess.
When we went to leave the trash containers were all full, we could hardly get our garbage into the barrels.
The stay was good over all , I just didn't lime the fact the the thermostat was lock and set to 70 . The house was pretty chilly then there was the rule of no shoes in the house . And the lack of hot water and no cable tv just internet. But thats just me other then that it was a ok stay we where not there for anything other then to Sleep .
I've stayed here several times given Im from the area but no longer stay in the area. Each time I've always had open communication with the property manager. The house has always been clean and smelled nice. Nice quiet neighborhood. My family always enjoys staying here.We will be back!!
Clean and Quiet. Deck may need some TLC. Kitchen was very nice.
Was surprised to learn about the thermostat being locked, but we just dealt with it being 70 degrees. Property management offered to send someone out to adjust, but we opted not to have someone come into the space while we were there or away.
The house is very well maintained and has the full range of amenities you would expect. It is in a quiet location on a lightly traveled road, but still within a couple minutesâ drive to a large number of shops and restaurants. We stayed here for the propertyâs central location on the Delmarva peninsula. It is within a reasonable drive of lots of destinations from the major beaches to all the quaint towns in the area. But it is just far enough from the tourist spots to enjoy a quiet and restful stay and not deal with mobs of other tourists at the local shops.
We were in town for the annual Seagull Century Bike Ride. The house is just a few miles away from Salisbury University, the host of the ride, which was quite convenient. Overall we were pleased with our stay.
House was very clean. Close proximity to the fields and OCMD but so happy we didn't have to stay in OCMD. Door to office needs some WD-40 and the mattress to the pull-out couch in the office is thin and sags in the center. I had to purchase a foam mattress topper to get through the week.
