Host was great and communicated very quickly. The home has a great theme, vibe, and location. Some problems that need attention:*There was a problem in the pool with a huge number of bees mostly alive which we scooped out daily and allowed to dry. They were also out in large numbers by the spotlight over the garage.*One outdoor lounge had a huge gash down center and should have been replaced.* No bar soap in bathrooms* Dining room chairs were very wobbly and creaky; one even had a screw fall out, we moved it aside and place the screw on the seat for later repair.*When entering the home, it had a very moldy smell and we had to open all the doors to freshen, although the A/C was on. But the mold smell was there and noticeable every time we reentered the home.* The house windows and even the glass doors in the Master Bedroom we uncovered or had VERY sheer curtains. The home needs simple pull-down shades or blinds, we ended up covering them with paper towels as there was no privacy at all.* Light switch in 1st Kitchen next to refrigerator needs to be replaced as it was broken off to a small stub that was dangerous.*One Electric outlet in front Queen bedroom right-side night table lamp, had a HOLE and no socket. no way to use lamp very dangerous!*There are many levels and a small 2"-4" steps that was tripped over (down) daily until we "marked" with garbage pails and pillows on the floor. The floors are all the same color it is dangerous
Everything was great the Barbie beach pad. We had a family of 6 and there was sooo much space. The pool and backyard were beautiful. Everything we needed was there. We were visiting our daughter at FAU and it was about 20 minutes away. No complaints and owner was very responsive before check in with questions. Thanks!
Four Barbies were participating in a golf tournament nearby. We each had our own room and bath which worked perfect! There is plenty of room in the house to spread out and there are even two kitchens and a heated pool with plenty of seating around it. We enjoyed the way the house is decorated with the Barbie pink theme! We highly recommend considering this fun house if you find yourself in Delray Beach area.
This house was ADORABLE!!! Location is very close to beach ($5, 5 min Lyft). Walkable to Atlantic Ave. Although a little far with children so take a stroller! A grocery store is 1 block over which is ideal to grab anything you forgot, breakfast, snacks, drinks! Felt very safe and neighborhood is fun to walk and look at houses. Beds are very comfortable! Plenty of space for everyone. The littleS (3,4,5) loved the pool!!!! They begged everyday to go back to the house and swim. Communication with property was quick and great. We would definitely stay again! There were 8 of us total.
Exactly what we were hoping for - exactly what we needed!
5 women meeting in Delray Beach for a baby shower (grandmother and aunts). The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms turned out to be a huge benefit, the pool was a huge plus! This house is sooo cute with great attention to details and it is PINK!! The owners obviously worked on every inch of the property - great job! We hope to return when the baby arrives!
We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids under 3 and we loved the Barbie Beach Pad!
There was plenty of room for everyone in our group (three families, two with young kids, all kids on different nap schedules). So much room that the adults didnât need to tip toe around when the kids were sleeping. The layout of the house was great for socializing and, again, very comfortable for everyone.
The host was a super communicator and very accommodating to our requests. They found us two pack n plays and a high chair which made our whole trip that much more easier. I felt that the host really cared about our visit and did everything they could to set us up and make us comfortable.
The brand new pool was such a great surprise! The outdoor space is private and does not feel cramped, we had a few meals out there, too!
Location was great with a 2 minute walk to the grocery store. Bars and restaurants were in easily walk/strollerable distances. Parking was a bit of a zoo downtown so walking was just as quick. We easily drove to the beach and I would highly recommend the Wakodahatchee or Green Cay Wetlands to see all the cool Florida wildlife!
