The place was wonderful. I would return in a heartbeat. The tub was wonderful and the beds were cozy, so was the fire. Loved being able to walk over to Chair 9 for pizza. Host was very responsive to minor issues. A door mat would be a great addition.
Absolutely loved the place! It was clean and beautiful. We wanted some relaxation time away from the city, thatâs exactly what we got. It was quite as we came during off season. We loved the the variety of dvds! I would definitely recommend staying here. Also the host was quick to respond which is always nice.
The shower was strong and hot, and the bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was great. The owner went out of the way to help me figure out how to use my Netflix account on the Roku TV. The kitchen was nice and it had a great sink.
Host was very responsive. Cabin super charming! Fireplace, hot tub, three queen size beds. Very modern updated kitchen. Clean. Only caveat- thereâs very little cell service in the area. Definitely download all your information prior to getting there, because you cannot pull up anything off your phone until you get into the Wi-Fi in the home. There is a grocery store nearby, but definitely would recommend grabbing groceries before you get to town. We ate at Gunners It was really good. And the bakery is phenomenal.! The home is about 40 minutes from Artist point- amazing hiking! When we were there, they were having a heat wave and the two restaurants actually closed very early, sounds like that is not unusual for the town. Five star!
Cabin is adorable and beds were so comfortable! Most amenities were spot on! Only down fall was fireplace didnât work and ceiling fan/light didnât work and no rug by front door. Why this matters is it rained a lot and there was no way to control tracking dirt into house. Also I was warned about spotty cell service but next time I will print out instructions for check in because there is no cell service and could read the instructions.
This cozy cabin was perfect for our ski weekend. Plenty of comfortable beds for our family of 4. Easy commute to Mt. Baker. We would definitely stay here again!
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The property was adorable. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the kids LOVED the loft area. A perfect little cozy space for our family of five. The distance to the Ski Area was great (30 minutes). The host was EXTREMELY responsive (responded within minutes), and the hot tub was perfectly clean and ready for an after the mountain soak. There are tennis courts, pickleball courts, a large open baseball/football/soccer field area nearby that the kids took advantage of. The only MINOR issue was that there was a little "noise" (maybe mice?) in the loft area (come on - this place is in the mountains!), it was very minor and nothing a white noise machine couldn't overcome. We had a spectacular stay and are looking to hopefully booking next year! BLISS!
Great cabin, lots of updates and still a real cabin feel.
"Minutes from Baker" - 34-minutes to be accurate.
The combination of rainy weather and fact that a very active mouse in the house, very active at night, encouraged us to leave a day early.
The cabin was really cozy. Lots of cookware is provided, so we were able to prepare most of our own food. The hot tub was awesome for relaxing in after hiking the local trails, and the location was about as convenient as it gets for the area. We made a day trip into Canada to check out Vancouver, and took a drive up Mt. Baker. I highly recommend checking out some of the local restaurants and coffee spots up there too!
Almost didnât write a review because I donât want this placed to be booked next time I can get away for the weekend! Booked this cabin for a quick weekend getaway with the kids. Cabin was super clean and well stocked with everything from cooking utensils and spices to dvds. My kids loved the loft area. Beds were really comfortable and I need to find out the brand of pillows because I need them in my bed!
