The house was perfect for our short trip in Denton. Close to Denton Square, which we loved. A lot of convenient places to eat. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and cute as all heck. We will definitely come back!
I enjoyed my stay, but there are a few things that I wanted to mention. The Keurig did not have a filter so it was beeping that it needed to be descaled leaving me with the impression that it hadnât been cleaned in a while. There was a Britta water filter jug in the refrigerator that the filter hasnât been changed. I recommend getting a new one or just throwing it out.. the website says central AC and heat. The heat was a space heater and the cord got really hot.. . I believe the cute yellow quilt could use a good cleaning, including the pillow shams.. owner was very receptive when I needed anything and brought extra towels that I requested. It seems silly that I would think that there was a washer and dryer as stated in the amenities, not realizing that apparently itâs some type of community washer dryer and not in the unit.
The size and location worked out great for us. I can't give 5 stars, because we couldn't manage to shower without soaking the bathroom floor. The shower head was too large for the tiny shower. It seems as we weren't the only ones with this problem. The bottom of the door frame was showing signs of rot. It would have also been nice to have had a stand to put our suitcase on. Other than that, we had everything we needed.
This is a nice spot. This was my second time staying here which says a lot. Although itâs in a very quiet neighborhood, it is close to the train tracks and you do get your occasional train that goes by, but I believe it somehow adds to the ambience of the place. The only thing that was off a bit was the kitchen sink faucet was loose and it made it difficult to gauge the water temperature and my partner was scolded by the hot water on a couple of occasions. Take care of this issue and itâs a near perfect stay. One last thing I would suggest is putting an extra set of towels in the cabinet in the bedroom, for those of us who may stay a week or longer.
We enjoyed our stay. It was close to downtown Denton and very convenient to NTU stadium. Everything was as described. The only thing that we werenât aware of was the train that goes by at night. Other than that it was perfect.
I liked the place but either the very cold a.c or the vents being dusty caused me to catch s cold. I couldn't really turn off the main, but i did turn off the white unit on the side. Also is recommend you lower the tv, it's close to the roof. And please add microwave. Judy my experience. Oh and thank you for letting me check in early.
I was really looking for a nice quiet respite, turned out to be just what I was looking forđ€
One note- the right kitchen sink drained very slow & disposal didnât work. Overall everything was wonderful.
Cute apartment with Van Gogh theme. Place was clean, neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Close enough to University Blvd to get anywhere you needed to go, but far enough away to relax. The space is small, I traveled alone so it was ok for just me. Bed was comfy, bathroom is small so if you need extra room to accomodate that might be a bit of a challenge. Overall I would recommend
Nice place to stay. Ita was a wonderful host. The Vincent Van Gogh them was absolutely icing on the cake. The daily and nightly train passage reminded me of the scene from My Cousin Vinny LOL. Very pleasant stay.
It was such a great stay. A really cozy place to stay. I had such a easy move in and owners of the property were great as well. They had great communication and were very accommodating.
We really enjoyed our time in Denton at this location. The apartment space was very nicely decorated in a quiet neighborhood. The drive downtown was super easy. Hosts were responsive and the check out process was super easy. We definitely recommend this place!
