Why stay in a sterile hotel when you can stay in charming and active Washington Park? The upper-unit in this small house is a perfect location for a small family to stay. Comfortable beds and furniture, enough space for all to spread out and a well-appointed kitchen. My husband appreciated the desk in the front room where he could work remotely and being directly across from the park kept our small dog happy. I even decorated for graduation using the picture rail -- no tape or tacks to ruin the walls (which I wouldn't have done, anyway)!
When we arrived there was a problem with the air conditioning, but the management stayed in contact with us and it was fixed the next afternoon by a very competent technician.
It is an old home, so the floors creak and are uneven, most of the windows don't open (painted shut, perhaps?) , but it has all the charm of a turn of the century craftsman.
Never a problem parking directly out front, even though there's no driveway.
Didn't hear the downstairs neighbors at all.
Could use an upgrade on the towels and a few more hotel-like toiletries (conditioner, soap and lotion).
