The couch/chair in our room was gross.. the blanket on the bed had burn holes and white substance all over it as if it wasn’t cleaned properly. The first night we were there some people were screaming and fighting a little after 1am. Slamming doors and preventing me and my spouse from being able to sleep. The fumes from down stairs entry way remodel were horrible. If I knew there was construction being done I wouldn’t have booked there. Not really happy with how the weekend went. Poor

⸻ ⭐️ 1 Star I reserved through the hotel’s website and paid at the counter. All of my receipts show $118, yet my bank statement shows $168. That overcharge alone is unacceptable and can you please explain? Unfortunately, the room conditions were worse. There was no coffee pot, only the lid sitting on the machine. While retrieving something I dropped, I found a bottle of used body oil under the nightstand, and the floor was so sticky I was literally stuck to it when trying to stand up. The bathtub was also not properly cleaned, and hair ties stuck to the tub, and there was no way to plug the drain, which made using the tub difficult and unpleasant. Sleep was nearly impossible. Guests above me were extremely heavy footed nigh owls, late into the night, and there was constant hallway noise, including someone I believe, possibly Quasimodo himself repeatedly pacing (dragging his feet) and mumbling. I got less than two hours of sleep. I paid for two nights but checked out after one night because the conditions were unacceptable. I would not stay here again and would caution others to check their charges and room cleanliness carefully.

I called for availability and pricing and the price on hotels.com was cheaper. The hotel was far from full but for some reason the attendant my gave me the room right next to the noisy elevator. The bed was as hard as floor with a blanket on it. The staff were loud starting at 7AM. I didn’t even mind the renovations going on, I just wanted sleep. It was a terrible night for sleep.
