AMAZING. Recommended, one of best places we have stayed, will stay again if in area! HOST: extremely responsive and appropriately attentive! Sufficient information provided in preparation for arrival and available/responsive in communications. Information is readily available: host communications, electronic house manual, physical binder provides information on house amenities, rules, check in/out, local activities, restaurants, etc.LOCATION: perfect! A block from beach access to one of the cleanest and clearest beach areas. Note- stairs to the beach. Several grocery & shopping. Quiet neighborhood.HOUSE: Exceeded expectations. Three 1st floor en-suite rooms was sufficient space for our needs. Clean, well decorated, ample space to spread out or for larger groups. Kitchen separates two living areas. Wine fridge and 2nd microwave near pool living area. Parking, two external showers. The lanai provided relaxing covered outdoor setting and bathroom!AMENITIES: everything needed is provided & in great condition (not rusty or worn down)! Best highlights: Beach chairs, coolers, beach toys, pool toys, extra freezer ice, variety of blenders, coffee pots, cooking/eating equipment.POOL: the best! beautiful amazing heated pool and spa!! Weather temperatures ranged from 70s-50s during our stay and we were able to utilize the entire time. Perfect pool layout with spa, sundeck and pool depths! Plenty of poolside seating. Can’t say enough great things!

The house was perfect for family which included 2 adult children, their spouses and grandchildren. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The pool was large and the pool area perfect with more than enough seating. We loved it. The owner was great, very responsive to any questions and so helpful. Loved our stay.

Perfect place for our family getaway. Loved the huge saltwater pool, outdoor living area, and short walk to the beach. The rental agent was very helpful. It was nice to have pool toys and beach toys, chairs, wagon, etc to use. The outside showers and bathroom was a plus

Destin 2025

Location was excellent! Pool was wonderful! Home was not as clean as it should’ve been upon arrival. Towels were very sparse, small, and not lush. We ate all our meals in house and the kitchen was well equipped for preparation and serving. No closet space at all. Bed in King 3 is very uncomfortable and noisy. Double living rooms worked great. Very top bedroom was unusable for our group. Too hard and dangerous to access. That needs to be noted in listing.

Destin dream house

This property is absolutely beautiful. The house is equipped with everything you will need. When we weren't at the beach, we spent most of our time in the pool area. My new favorite home in Destin! Jan is an amazing host!

Loved it. Asked manager for help and got immediate response. I speak for all that very impressed with the overall inventory of cooking utensils, bath needs and tv,s furniture pieces. Beach two minutes away with numerous things to do all within 30 minute drive. I would not get a cart again because of limitation on roads it ca be driven on. In closing I and my family would definitely go Back again .

A Little Slice of Paradise

What an amazing experience! What a beautiful property!The home was spectacular with an awesome interior. The kitchen is fabulous and is the most well stocked kitchen we have ever seen in a vacation rental. It literally has everything that could have needed. The bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are so nice.The house was extremely clean and very well maintained (fresh paint, great flooring (LVP) and top tier appliances, fixtures, and furniture.The pictures, as good as they are, do not tell the whole story. In person, it's even better.The pool area is a small oasis in itself with all the features like shooting jets, waterfalls, and a hot tub. And the seating around the pool area...we stopped counting at 25. There is ample space to swim and play cornhole or simply relax with a book.We loved the gathering space in the rear of the home with a view of the pool and a big table to share meals or games.The beach is literally a 5-minute walk to the water from the house, but with this house, you don't even need the beach!Jan is a very responsive host and makes sure the experience you have is first rate. This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken.

Spring Break get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beach haven. Having our own salt water pool and hot tub was incredible since the ocean was rough and cold. We paid to have the pool heated. There was a problem one day but our hosts had the pool guy come out and we were back in business the next day and we received a credit for the day it wasn’t heated.The neighbors were mostly quiet but not completely but even that didn’t detract from our stay. The home is spacious with plenty of room to spread out.

Great location, beautiful house and pool

We loved our stay at the Beach Walk Retreat. The house is big enough to comfortably accommodate the stated number of occupants. We only had four people, and it gave everyone plenty of space to spread out. The pool is beautiful and the spa was used often given the slightly cool October weather. We had a minor issue with the spa on the first day. Jan and Jim were at the house in minutes to remedy the situation. The location is tough to beat - a two minute walk to the beach. The ride into Destin is 10-15 minutes at most, which didn't seem bad at all when heading out to dinner. The three master bedrooms are plenty big, and the en suite bathrooms would be great for a bigger party. There are two large tables for dining, games or getting some work done in the house. There is plenty of space outdoors if the whole party was by the pool. There are also some smaller desks interspersed throughout the house. I didn't count the TVs but there are a bunch! The kitchen is very well equipped and there are "starter" amounts of laundry detergent, so you may have to run out for more if you're there for a while. Overall, I would 100% book this home again.

Another fabulous Destin home

Wow! What a perfectly fantastic Destin beach house. We had an array of family members, a child, teens, young adults, adults and seniors. This home made us feel like we lived here. It was so clean, comfortable, beautiful and well appointed(loved the decor). It was so close to the beach, a 2 minute walk and Jan the owner was so caring and helpful before and during our trip. I could reach out to her at any point if I had a question or needed to know anything about the house. Plus this home is so close to everything Destin has to offer. Sometimes when you go away you want to spend as little time in the rental as possible. This home was not like that. We spent a lot of time here! The pool/hot tub/lanai was AMAZING!!! Truly an outdoor masterpiece! We all spent most of our time(day and night) there. Just beautiful! We loved that there were 2 living spaces and 3 places to eat. The kitchen/laundry area was perfect(we cook and do a lot of laundry). She even had a ton of beach towels for us to use. Which is so helpful when you have to fly to the beach. There were games to play, every room had a tv, pool toys, beach chairs, etc. They thought of everything to make a large family feel right at home at their beach house. Unless we have more people added to our trip to Destin next time, we would definitely stay here again. I also have already recommended the home to friends who are interested in going to Destin. We had many laughs and many memories were made on this trip.

My wife and I were joined by our three adult kids, their spouses and our 7 grandkids (all 9 and under). The house was very spacious and clean. Plenty of living, eating and sleeping space. Location was perfect. Short two minute walk to the beach and a five minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations. The area was very safe and clean. The pool was also perfect. Large enough for multiple people with steps and shallow platform for kids to play. Also had an attached jacuzzi. The pool was perfect for young kids and adults. Highly recommend!!! We are planning our next stay.

Great Senior Trip

I think the key points about this home are that it's super close to the beach with a couple different places to access it easily. I had to talk to Jan on a couple occasions through text and phone call and she was quick, kind, and super helpful. The home is rated for 14 people and that's exactly how many we had (4 families) and the home was more than accommodating. && Finally the pool...it was amazing. We literally never left the beach or pool the whole time we were there!! (Other pools in this area were not near as big or as nice.)

We Will Be Back!

We’ve been vacationing on the Florida coast for over 20 years. We have found our forever house in which to stay. Everything, and I mean everything, has been thought out so perfectly. It is everything the description indicates - and so much more. The pool and spa are amazing. I wish I could have hugged the owners goodbye before we left. It was a wonderful experience!

Spring Getaway

We are a group of 7 adults who regularly travel and stay at rental homes. The group agreed that this home is one of the best we’ve stayed at. The outdoor pool area is well thought out and we spent many hours out there. The layout of the home with 3 masters with en suites on the main level is great for the early risers. The walk to the beach is quick and easy; we went down nightly for sunset walks! Highly recommend, we would definitely stay again.

Best house ever.

We have been staying at different locations and houses annually for the past 10+ years with our children and grandchildren. It was agreed upon by all members of our family that this was the best house ever. More than lived up to expectations. House was immaculate, pool was outstanding and owners helpful and responsive. Great location to beach, dining and activities.

BEST BEACH HOUSE

Our family of 9 get together once a year so we put high priority on location, accommodations and convenience. This home scored 10 on all counts. Plenty of sleeping options, bathrooms, sitting areas and can not emphasize enough the AMAZING pool/hot tub! Convenient location to beaches and restaurants. This beach house will keep you coming back

Spring Break Escape

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was spectacular. Eleven of us (seven parents, four HS senior boys) had all the space we needed and the house was perfect. The home is less than a five minute walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub are huge. The following is a direct quote from one of the other parents in my group... "It was perfect. We absolutely LOVED the house!!! The pool was AMAZING...the best one we have had while on a vacation. It was so nice that they had a basket of towels to use. We would for sure recommend this home to others that would want to stay in Destin." Additionally, the owner was super responsive. She called me two nights before we arrived to answer any questions I had and promptly replied to the texts I sent during our stay. Five Stars All Around.

Great location

The house is located half a block from the beach (which is great!), since access point is in the midst of hotels and beachfront villas, I'd imagine it's difficult to find a spot that hasn't been claimed. It's probably easier to just rent a beach umbrella, which was what we did. But at night time we were able to go crab hunting easily and had a ton of fun. The house is not far away from a shopping area and grocery store, which is also convenient. Check in process was smooth and the property owner was very helpful and responsive. She gave me a call ahead of time, answered my questions and gave me some tips and tricks. Overall the property is in decent shape and things are kept up. The furniture are in good shape and decorations are nice. There are a couple of minor details that I informed the property owner about and I'm confident she will make plans to correct these things. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend to anyone who wants to bring their family to Destin to enjoy the beach.
