Great condo, incredible location!

Beautiful, spacious condo. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 6. Just steps to the pool and beach. The private beach is less crowded than most of Destin, and the chair/umbrella rental service is super convenient. Highly recommend this condo!!

Family Vacation

Our unit was fine other than the mattress in the master bedroom should come off the risers. It was difficult to get into bed if you are of average height. The other issue was not specific to our unit. Three days we were without water, 2 days without prior notice. The 1st day, my husband had to tell them to turn the water back on to the condos! The 2nd day were notified after the water was off. The 3rd day we knew & had to go out & buy water to flush the toilets, brush our teeth, etc. Some of this work probably should have been done in the late evening/night, when people were showered, etc., for the day. We had family pictures scheduled on the beach one of the days the water was off. I was worried about everyone getting showered and ready for the picture. We realize the issue couldn’t be helped, but the timing of the repairs could have been better. None of this was at the discretion of the condo owner.

Destin Family Vacation 2023

Our stay in the Crane's Nest was the absolute best! Eva and Paul were amazing hosts! Their condo is immaculate! It was perfect for our family and our newest addition, our 7 month old grandson, Beckett! Everyone had a very comfortable place to sleep! I would highly recommend it to any and all friends considering staying at the Aegean!

Location, location, location!

My family and I stayed for a week at this property. It was EXACTLY as listed in the photos - PERFECTION. There was plenty of space, everything was clean and the kitchen was packed with items for cooking. We really liked that each room had it's own bathroom so this is great for families/couples to each have their own area outside of the common areas. I also loved that this unit has a beach view and it's literally a 3 minute walk to be on the beach. You can go back and forth all day if you like. I loved the convenience of a few hours on the beach, back to the room for lunch, then back to the beach without having to pack items back and forth or driving. Holiday Isle (this beach area) is the most gorgeous I've ever seen. You will want to stay on this beach the entire time you are there! For me, this is the most expensive vacation rental I've ever booked. I booked it for 8 people, we ended up with only 6 people and it was still worth it for me for the beach alone. The hosts were very kind and communicative. I messaged several questions and they replied very quickly. I appreciated that!

Great Location/Outdated Unit

This is the third unit we've stayed in at the Aegean, and while the space in this unit was great, it was the least updated of units we've stayed in. Everything felt like it hadn't been updated since the 1980's, from the pots and pans to the paint, to the caulking, etc. The hot water when fully turned hot barely exceeded warm, and the water heater was behind a locked door. The oven was small and took significantly longer to cook things. I will say the number of beach toys/umbrella/towels was wonderful and very helpful. The unit was clean, however there was an odor that was reminiscent of perm solution. Started out strong and towards the end of the stay it was mostly gone, but you could still smell it every time you entered the unit. Overall for the space and location, it was still a good deal.

Family Vacation

Everything was clean and tidy; great having beach towels and chairs available and the wagon was a very nice surprise! It was great for getting chairs and beach bags, etc to the beach. Beds were comfortable and the configuration of beds worked well for our group. Host responded quickly to questions prior to checking in which I appreciated. Also loved having the entrance door keypad so that no one had to worry about carrying a key. Thanks for everything!

Really enjoyed our stay. The condo is in a great location, just a few steps to the beach. Everything is very clean. Lots of room. The owners are very responsive. Definitely would recommend and will return next time in Destin.

Great Family place

Six of us stayed at the perfect place for us. The twins (boy and girl) now 13 enjoyed the top floor in their own little apartment like area with two separate beds. Two couples had plenty of room in the other two bedrooms with baths. The accommodations were comfortable and well equipped with extra beach towels, everything in the kitchen that any Master Chef would need. The only downside was the few steps up or down to get to the elevator.

Great Family Condo

We had a wonderful time at this property. Great location on the beach and close to access stores.

We loved the location! The only thing we were disappointed with is the lack of items like laundry soap, garbage bags, etc... the property could have been stocked a little better especially when you want us to start laundry and dishes and things before we leave. (Would be easier to do if you supplied those items to do so) But we had a great time and loved the location.
