Disappointing stay. Room was drafty and heat couldn't keep up, so it was freezing. Room was also right next to the elevator and in no way sound proof, so constant noise from elevator chimes and people coming and going all day and night. Reception staff were unfriendly.

I really wanted to love this hotel. The atmosphere and decor are undeniably cool, and both the front desk and valet staff were genuinely wonderful. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the aesthetic. Our room was 2.5 hours late for check-in and wasn’t ready until nearly 5:30pm. After a long travel day, and a concert to get to, that was a tough start. We had booked a king room, but the bed in our room was actually a queen. A small but frustrating detail: the coffee shop at the front told me it would take 20+ minutes to make a decaf coffee (I’m pregnant), because they would need to grind the beans. Most good coffee shops grind beans on demand and make the drink right away, so this felt odd and that they just didn’t want to make it. Overall, the hotel has a fun vibe, but it’s definitely a bit of a lipstick-on-a-rough-building situation, which is especially noticeable once you’re inside the rooms, which have weird dim pink lighting. Lovely staff, but the experience didn’t justify the stay. Wouldn’t book again.

It’s a very charming hotel and the heart of the city. My room was pretty nice with some quirky things like an oversized shower but a small vanity around the sink. I wouldn’t recommend it for a special event as you have a rather small armoire to hang your clothing again great for couple just spending the night or just for a weekend getaway. The coffee shop was packed first thing in the morning so I do recommend waking up early to try to get a cup of Joe.

I loved this hotel! The front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly. The vibe of the hotel is fabulous. The cafe has excellent coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Definitely want to enjoy it during your visit. The bar is also wonderful, small but quaint, and very unique, with a very top-notch staff. The location is close to everything. We attended a concert at Little Caesars Arena, which was a short walk away. Definitely recommend staying at this wonderful hotel. It's top of our list when we revisit the motor city...love Detroit.

Only stayed one night. enjoyable experience. My favorite part was literally every staff i encountered was friendly and pleasant. Decor niche. Bed super comfortable. Can hear other peoples alarms in the morning haha but it was amusing. Elevator wait can be annoying but all in all great time. Would come again.
