Great stay in Digne

Wonderful place to stay in Digne. The property is excellent and the staff truly outstanding in terms of care and attention. The amenities are great for couples and families alike. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant, and liked the overall commitment to sustainability.

Nice staff and clean room. Lack of air conditioning made room uncomfortably hot. Limited breakfast options and no hot food. Scramble eggs and pancakes were served cold. Housekeeping was based on making beds and emptying bins only. No cleaning.

We stayed here for 10days for our first experience of Provence, and glad we did! The hotel is comfortable and nicely designed with all the things we needed. Great spaces for chilling out in the evening (with a selection of board/card games for the family to choose from) and perfectly located for exploring the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence during the day. Room Simple but spacious and nicely furnished. The wood panel theme runs throughout the hotel. Our balcony looked out over the pool and the surrounding hills, which was great. The sound proofing seemed pretty good too. Downsides: no air conditioning meant it got pretty hot. But, the hotel staff managed to get us a fan which really made a difference. Would really benefit from a fridge and safe in the room. Pool Clean and a good size, with enough sun loungers and shade to keep everyone happy. Restaurant Great breakfast with an abundance of sweet and savoury to choose from. Evening meals were tasty, but if you’re staying more than 4 days be aware that the menu changes infrequently (not at all over our 10days) and with only 4 starters/4 mains/4 desserts this can feel a little repetitive. There’s also food at the bar and the pizza’s here were super. Staff The hotel aside, we must mention the staff who were attentive and always willing to help. A special mention must go to Lola who made us feel especially welcome and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We will definitely return next time we are back this way.

The patio area around the pool needed attention to the paving ie. Jet wash & relaying tiles as very uneven. The beds & umbrellas were all new. Having said this the hotel was good quality for the cost.

L'accueil a été rapide et agréable. Chambre PMR, sala de bain adaptée, avec barre d'appui sur la gauche fiche et WC, dans la 108. Literie confortable. Juste un petit bémol pour de place PMR proche de l'entrée qui est en petite montée, en fauteuil électrique ça par impeccable mais pour ceux qui marche mal ou en fauteuil manuel, c'est un peu compliqué. La déco est hyper chaleureuse !
