Douglas Fir Cabin is a beautifully rebuilt (May 2024) three-bedroom log cabin set in a peaceful wooded area. Long known as one of our most popular pet-friendly cabins, it offers a quiet setting where you can often spot wildlife right from the large back porch.
Inside, the cabin features a comfortable living space with a large wood-burning fireplace and an auxiliary gas furnace for year-round comfort. The kitchen and dining area are fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, and single-serve Keurig, along with cookware, dishes, and utensils. The living room includes satellite TV and a DVD player for relaxing evenings indoors.
Douglas Fir sleeps up to 8 guests across three bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have one queen bed, while the third bedroom includes two queen beds—making it a great option for families or groups. The cabin also features a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bed linens are provided; guests should bring their own bath towels.
Outside, you’ll find a large porch with wooden seating and a gazebo with a swing, perfect for enjoying the quiet surroundings. The private picnic area includes a picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire ring for outdoor meals and evening campfires.
