The hotel is nice. The staff is plenty and polite. However... buttons in the elevator are elegant but not readable. Mediocre breakfast for 75 AED is terribly expensive, especially when you sit at a table that rocks like a ship in a storm. My room had several issues, among them: hair dryer plug incompatible with the wall outlet; non-functioning telephone and electrical outlet; coffee machine located in a very dim area, thus difficult to operate. This hotel deserves three starts, IMO.

It wasn’t stated at all that the ATM in the hotel is a LOCAL ONLY ATM. It stole my debit card (which I NEVER got back because it was a “Sunday”). I kept asking about how to retrieve that card and even found ATM support on my way out and they couldn’t help. I asked SO MANY staff members and they said there was NOTHING they could do about it!! This really was a nightmare. PLEASE LABEL THE ATM AS NON-FOREIGNER FRIENDLY. This made my experience really bad!!!!

There are some great hotels in Dubai and sadly this is below what I would expect of a 5 star hotel. Room service calls were not answered multiple times and other staff seemed to lack training. The room layout is modern and quite well appointed and it's a short walk to the metro which is handy for the airport and exploring Dubai
