Shuttle bus did not turn up despite us running through airport to be in time. It then drive past us without stopping and we waited 49 minutes no apology. Reception lacked any words of welcome.

Let's be clear. Expedia says you can walk from the airport to the hotel. You can not. I checked with reception staff and they laughed at the idea. Why is this important? Because being a short walk from the terminal was pretty much the main reason I chose the hotel. :-/ The hotel itself was okay. I found it very noisy. It does have a bar which was nice.

My party reserved a room to be closer to the airport and to rest before taking a late-night flight from Dubai. Upon arrival, I went to the front desk to give my name/passport to begin the check-in process. The lady sighed very loudly and rudely said "I cannot do ANYTHING until I have passports from everyone in your party". This was the start of the unprofessional behavior and tone that we experienced during our short time there. The security overseeing the property was speaking rudely to other patrons as they attempted to get carts and bring in their luggage (the front drive is a very short, narrow, circular drive). Once we got to the room, it was dark and some of the lighting did not work. The room had a musty smell, worn furniture, and the sofa couch had visible stains. We decided to check out of the hotel after less than an hour. We opted to just sit in the airport until it was time for our flight.
