Originally booked a standard cabin and was later offered an upgrade to a Deluxe Cabin for an additional cost which we accepted.
I then attempted to contact Westview via the mobile number on both the Hotels app and Westviewâs website which was both the same but was told that the number had been disconnected. The question that I was asking about related to the type of mattress as I have a bad back.
When we arrived we were given a key to the Deluxe room as designated. After unpacking the car we entered the room to find it unserviced and a mess.
I went back to the office to see the receptionist who found us a standard cabin as she was on her own and unable to rectify the problem. She did her best. This standard cabin unfortunately was not Deluxe by any standard especially the pokey bathroom and bed wise considering that we had paid a 10% extra charge for the Deluxe cabin that has not been refunded.
The stay could have been a whole lot better.
My recent stay at the caravan park, I was quite disappointed with the experience. The facilityes appeared old and not well maintained. The moveable dwelling/park home and amenities were not very clean and the overall enviornment was quite noisy. I also found the park was not very suitable or friendly for children, which made out stay uncomfortable. . Also, the bunk bed has no railing and my 7 years son fell from the bed middle of the night.
I wanted to share this feedback in the hope that future guests have a better experience. I'd appreciate it if you could look into these concerns and I'd also like to know if any compensation or partial refund is possible given the condition.
There was no internet. When we told the manager, she said noone had internet and no, it wasn't going to be fixed soon. We felt that only the bare minimum was done to this property. There were a few broken items in our cabin, including the outside door, fridge and oven. A lack of amenities.
It was ok. Bathroom a bit tight. Cabin ran downhill to the rear. The bed was good as was the kitchen facilities. No complaints. Reasonable value for money.
When i check in was inform by staff, wifi not working and they dont have an Eta when it will be fix. Staff said that we a huge smile on their face. No empathy, no compensation! Property very worn out! Bed side light not working! Food from previous visotor left in the cupboard! No body gives a damn about the cobdition of the property! I wont be staying there again!
