Very cozy one room cabin. We woke up to snow one morning and cabin was warm and comfortable. Dubois is a friendly town. Enjoyed breakfast at the Cowboy Cafe and dinner at Noon Rock Pizza, recommend both places. We used this cabin as home base and traveled to both the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Would stay here again given the opportunity.
I spent 2 nights in the wonderful Yellowstone cabin. The location is perfect - right near the heart of town, but you feel away from it all! The cabin is as clean as a whistle and cozy as can be! Beautiful!! The bed is VERY comfy! Cathy is a wonderful hostess. I would highly recommend staying at the Yellowstone Cabin.
So, unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay at the Yellowstone Cabin because of the Fish Creek fire. We contacted Cathy the night before we were supposed to arrive after we discovered the highway to Grand Teton National park was closed due to the fire. When we informed her we needed to make other arrangements she immediately refunded us for our stay. This was unexpected but greatly appreciated. If we make plans in the future to visit this area again we will definitely try to stay in one of their cabins. Cathy was very gracious and Iâm positive if we had been able to stay in their cabin it would have a 5 star experience.
The Yellowstone was a wonderful place to stay! We loved the roominess and especially the authentic cabin vibe! It is beautiful! The bed was super comfy and everything clean and cozy. The location, although it was a little tricky to find, was good for visiting GTNP. Was a little bit of a drive, but it was a beautiful drive! One day we had a young moose in front of us on the highway! And we loved Dubois! There was so much to do including visiting the National Museum of Military Vehicles which was way more than we expected, and hiking NE of town in the Shoshone National Forest, Fitzpatrick Wilderness. Beautiful hiking with beautiful views. All in all, the Yellowstone was a great place to stay and helped round out a nice vacation. Thank you!
If you are looking for peace and quiet away from all the crowds, with a small town atmosphere, this is it. We loved staying in Dubois. It was an hour to 1 1/2 hours to get to GTNP and YNP. We saw wildlife on our drives to and from everyday.
This cabin was clean, comfortable, convenient to the local stuff and just what we needed to settle in for the night in a comfortable bed. Ms. Cathy was so easy to deal with and even met us outside on her property to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
This is perfect for a couple not spending a whoke lot of time other than to sleep and get dressed to leave out early for adventures. Although we didnât cook or prepare meals, there was certainly supplies there to do so. And even some snacks. We enjoyed eating at the mom and pop shops that were in walking distance in Dubois. There is a restaurant for anything you might be craving and the local watering hole was just perfect for a night cap! I would highly recommend staying here.
It was very nice, clean, everything&more there for us. The host is very sweet, very available for any communication.
We just were expecting a cabin to be more in the vast nature of this area. It is in the town, on a property with other cabins in close proximity.
For some this might be good, as reataurants, coffee shops, gas station etc are in walking distance and bears are probably not coming around. Just that we had nature around us in mind when thinking of a cabin. Maybe our fault.
Overall a wonderful stay.
We enjoyed our stay here as a base camp for exploring Grand Teton. The cabin was well equipped with everything needed and was so clean, warm and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!
Love the owners! The property was lovely! Quiet and peaceful! We walked thur town from the location. Found a cute little BBQ place and it was delicious! We ate there quite a bit! It was just enough room for the both of us! The little bunny outside was there everyday! The bed was very comfy! Not a bad ride to any destination we went to!
