I had a great room with a good view of the river. The downtown location is perfect and Caroline's restaurant had good food for a good price. The only hitch was there is no coffee available until after 7AM. That little machine in the room doesn't count. I'll be back.

Beautiful historic hotel

Cool historic hotel with a pool and nice spa. We really enjoyed our stay here. Its an older hotel so thats something to keep in mind, some things are just that - older. But i feel like they’ve done a good job keeping the historic feel while updating what needed updating. The bed was ohhhhh so soft and comfy…which is so important at hotels (and rare)! For this reason alone we’d stay here again. The pool and spa are nice, we swam two days in a row and both days we had the whole place to ourselves which was awesome! The pool is not heated though so expect it to be chilly. I think it was a saltwater pool though which is better on ur skin! Once u get past that initial cold dip, its a comfortable swim. The hot tub is right there to warm up when needed!
