Aside from the big rain we had which cause a little leak downstairs, I notified the owners and they came and cleaned it up in a timely manner and was just as dry as when we had first checked in. The views were beautiful along with the big spacious yard. Last but not least was the neighbors pet bunny Bruce! Nice little fella, we fed it some carrots and celery sticks!
House is as shown in listing with exception of windows cranks that donât work. Nearly all were inoperative and since doesnât have A/C, kind of an issue for comfort. Additionally screens were beat up so bugs flew in. Price is right, but could use a little bit of fixing of some things. With exception of screens / windows host was great in communicating and house was well located off main hwy to north shore
We stayed here for my wedding weekend with our wedding party. I wanted a place for them to stay and not worry about lodging. There was plenty of space for us and lots of dishes for everyone. We all appreciated the numerus box fans throughout since it was a hot weekend in duluth, so those were helpful. And even though it was hot we did test out the sauna and I must say it was a hit and was nice and relaxing. And any question I had for Morgan throughout the stay she answered quickly and was very helpful! We love the stay, trips into town were a little long, but very much expected and not bad at all it just took a little extra planning on our part. I would totally recommend it for a larger group that needs a nice getaway in duluth! I also noticed how kid frendly this house is. Lots of outlet covers, built in stair gates for safety, kid plates, cups, and cutlery, and even a little playground area. While it wasnt a necessity for us. It was something that we noticed that was worth mentioning as if thats something someone reading reviews is looking for. The check in process was straightforward, we were emailed the door code information to have easy access. And there were laminated instructions for check out that made it easy to follow the morning of check out. Thank you again Morgan for having this beautiful place as a VRBO! We loved it and enjoyed our stay!
Listing stated air conditioning. There was a small unit in 1 bedroom. That was very deceiving and the house was very warm the whole time we were there. We never found shampoo or laundry soap and the water wasnât filtrated. All of these should have been noted so we would have brought some. We wouldnât have chosen this place if we knew it didnât have true air conditioning Besides that it was a beautiful home and location and bruce the bunny was a big hit
Our extended family was traveling to the North Shore for a vacation. This was a great place to stay with lots of room. We really enjoyed the fire pit, blackstone grill and sauna. Itâs a little off the beaten path which was great for having some privacy and relaxation after days of travel and sightseeing.
Great property to stay at with a large group! It was great having so many rooms available for sleeping and we loved all of the rooms to hang out in. The outdoor space was perfect for playing outdoor games and sitting around a fire. The close proximity to Duluth and hiking trails made this the perfect location for us. Morgan was super responsive and provided all the information we needed! We loved this place and definitely hope to visit again.
Great cabin in a great location. We loved the secluded forest vibes and the fire pit. Interior was spacious, warm, and accommodating. The sauna was a big hit, especially after our long day of hiking. Property was clean and well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay at Morgan's property. It was spacious, comfortable and had many really nice updates. Morgan was so kind and responsive, and when the coffee maker went on the fritz, drove another one right over! We had a wonderful stay, and this was an ideal spot for anyone coming for Grandma's marathon. It is really close to a great cheer spot on mile 14 of the course! Highly recommend!
Morgan was very responsive to any questions and super helpful. The house was a great place for a larger group to stay, it was super to be all together in one house. It was private and in a great location not too far from town, but just far enough. We would definitely stay here again!
Great location, plenty of space, loved the outdoor fire pit and natural setting, well stocked kitchen, communicative and kind hosts that went the extra mile
This cabin was in the perfect place for our family. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The guys loved the fire ring in the evening and the kitchen had all we needed.
Eight of us came up from Arkansas to visit family who lives in Duluth. We needed a place large enough for all of us and this house was perfect! Beautiful house and property , comfortable beds, loved the sauna! Short drive into town. Definitely recommend this place.
This was a great looking placeânew sauna and bar area in the downstairs, nice work done in the upstairs living room area. It was mostly clean with just one area that the roomba couldnât reach and a laundry basket with dirty linens left in one of the bedrooms. The main issue that we had was with the very uncomfortable beds.
Our family get together consisting of 8 adults, two teens and s six year old, had a great stay. Spacious gathering areas, comfy furniture and a large yard to play in.
We loved the location of this property as it is in between Two Harbors and Duluth. The property owner was great with communicating, and also accommodating. She brought a window AC unit as we were there on a warm weekend, and also had brought another propane tank so we could enjoy a nice fire at night. The loft area was my boys favorite, and there is a nice big yard for the kids to play.
Nice space. Quiet property. Great for our family of 11.
Loved most everything, but I would simply say a deep clean of the property is in order. Refrigerator, coffee maker, ice maker, bathrooms. My husband actually cleaned the ice maker & coffee maker as best as he could. I would also recommend folks bring bottled water for some things (drinking, coffee) as the tap water is a bit off.
