Lakefront lodge with an indoor pool, in the vicinity of Gooseberry Falls State Park

We had an issue with the heat staying at 80 the first night,it was quickly fixed the next day when we told the desk clerk. The breakfast ordered (no free breakfast offered)was delicious in the Lodge restaurant ,large helpings. The views were wonderful,bed comfortable, we appreciated the small sink , dishes, flatware,etc provided also .There was no elevator in our building so we had to carry up our luggage,etc

Location of property is fantastic, with views of Lake Superior readily available. There was a unique odor at reception desk and through out the lobby and hallways. Don’t have a clue of what the odors were. The property had two deferent areas for restaurants could use a joint menu in either restaurant. Restaurants were poorly manned and wait times for seating and orders were longer than usual.
