The room was large. Location was okay because we had a car. Things we didnt like: Television and wifi were intermittent. Wifi was hard to connect too then after a few minutes it would disconnect and wouldnt even come up on our list of networks. As we are travelling we were relying on internet access. Sheets were frustrating as fitted sheet kept slipping off as too small for the bed. Black grout along bottom of shower ? Mold which required us wearing thongs on our feet when showering. Vinyl floor dirty which we didnt realise until getting into bed and noticing our dirty soles.

Uncomfortable beds

We came to Duluth for the Tall Ships Festival. Very friendly and fast check in. We were in a smoking room, which we asked for and found it to be clean and no issues of lingering smoke from previous guests. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room, but no coffee maker. Coffee was available in the lobby. The beds were very uncomfortable to us- the main reason for my rating. The motel is older and located above 3 miles from the convention center/downtown. There is a restaurant and gas stations next to the motel, as well as easy access to the highway. Overall it was adequate for our needs and affordable.

No complaints

Basic motel needs were provided...friendly staff, clean, comfy bed, close to restaurants and the waterfront area. No coffee service available in lobby but Circle K next door has great coffee. Pet friendly with no carpet in the room is a plus.

If all you need is a bed for the night...

Stayed here because it was the only place in the area that had a room available and found out why pretty quick. The AC unit was loud but I wasn't about to turn it off in fear of the stench from the water damage would get worse. I also wonder how bad the budget is for the amneties when they don't even offer Kleenex/facial tissue.

Motel 6 was quite poor. We had a toilet that was not properly cleaned. It had built up pee on it. The seat was so loose we had to sit carefully. There was used soap still in the shower. The bathroom door didn’t shut unless you lifted and and shoved it closed. The shower head was for a very short person. The room smelled like cigarettes. To get rice I had to have the front desk worker buzz me in to the first floor.

Quiet and nice!

We liked the mod remodel of an older hotel. The hand rails were sticky. The mattress was ok but old? Could feel the springs. Overall it was just fine. No complaints. Quiet! An unexpected delight!
