House was amazing, views of the lake were spectacular, house layout was accommodating for a group of 8 where we had plenty of room to gather and rooms separated for privacy!
Home was very spacious. Decorated beautifully. Kitchen had everything you needed plus more. The lower level was nice for our adult children who liked to stay up late visiting and sleeping in We were close to trout streams for fishing and wineries for tasting. We had a beautiful brunch at Glenora and hiked Watkins Glen. Home is very centrally located. Thank you for sharing your home.
The house was very private and seemed very secluded.
Many deer were seen on the drive down the long driveway.
The kitchen was nicely stocked and had everything you need to cook and entertain.
The bedrooms were comfortable. The downstair bedrooms were nice for our family with kids. As mentioned with other review, there was a musty smell in the downstairs area.
Best part was the lakeside access and availability to kayaks and a paddle board.
This house was amazing for a group of friends. The view from the house is absolutely outstanding and the elevator to the water was so cool. I personally loved the aesthetics of the house and thought the kitchen was well equipped. Others wrote that they didnât like the set up of the house having to enter the other bedrooms through the garage but that didnât bother us whatsoever. We all enjoyed hanging out downstairs and in the hot tub. The house location was perfect as well close to so many wineries. Besides being loud from the septic tank We canât wait to come back.
Property Lakefront on a very steep decline and property sits on a hill. Good views of the lake property needs some upgrading as in basic painting and carpet cleaning. odd layout of bedrooms two of the bedrooms you must go through the garage into the basement. Was fine for what we needed Staying at this location until I gets a little sprucing up.
It is in a great location for wineries. It also would be good if you have two families that want some separate space there is not much flatland if you bring your dogs or have children that would like to play outside.
Property was fabulous and very clean as advertised. 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs, with 3 of the 4 facing the lake with great views, and one of the upstairs bedrooms with access to the wrap-around deck.
Fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for even a long stay. Plus, with the management company's welcome gift, there was no need to bring anything.
Upper level deck with 2 umbrella-covered tables & fantastic view of the lake, a large grill and space for relaxation and meals (breakfast overlooking the lake is marvelous). Under the deck is a patio area with the large hot tub (partially under the deck) & large gravel covered area for eating, etc.
2 living areas, 1 upper & 1 lower, both with TVs (Roku) are very comfortable with plenty of space. There is also a TV in one of the upper bedrooms.
The lower level is accessible only through the garage but was not that bad (3 stairs down from the laundry area, then another flight of stairs to the lower level). The lower level can be locked & then must be accessed from the patio area door via a lockbox with a key (contact the management company for code).
The property is managed by Finger Lakes Premier Properties (FLPP) & were very responsive for the booking and any other stay-related issues. Be ready to provide a picture ID if this is your 1st stay with FLPP. Plenty of information on the property and the stay were provided immediately following the booking with the door access code arrived a week prior to stay.
Pros: Beautiful house, very clean, lots of room, well stocked kitchen with many small appliances, elevator down to lake.
Cons: Light switches that do not turn on lights, temperature control issues, to get to downstairs section you have to go through a garage, fireplace does not appear safe, lack of exterior lighting.
We had a big storm and lost power, we contacted property management, and they kept us updated. Next day late afternoon called again because tv and internet was out. Contacted again and they tried to fix but had to call company service. Due to location a generator would be a great addition.
Two bedrooms are upstairs and two bedrooms are downstairs, but you have to go through the garage. Its a bit weird setup. Huge full kitchen upstairs and small bar and mini kitchen area with refrigerator which was nice. The thermostat was difficult to work as it seemed preset and scheduled. Very cold the first two nights then I found a space heater.
View is beautiful. Large deck with outdoor tables and chairs. I wish our weather was nicer so we could enjoy it. Hot tub was relaxing.
I loved that we could bring our dog, they even left a goody bag for him.
Plenty of wineries close by, some within a 5 minute drive.
