Keep looking… this property is “ick”

Property was clean-ish, but not in great shape maintenance-wise. The bathroom floor was soggy and spongy under the flooring and there was an obvious hole under the floor between the sink and shower. Ceiling fans were filthy, carpet was stained, and the light above one bed was about to fall off. Coffee grounds and creamer had been left, but they were not covered at all, and there was no coffee maker. Overall, this property gave us the “ick”. I would not recommend at all.

Heavy rains and cold winds changed our tent camping plans in Glacier to needing a kitchenette. Two Medicine Inn had the perfect place for our 2 night stay, nothing fancy, yet clean and more than adequate.The manager, Georgianna, was gracious and always available to help.overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Few things on the listing were true about this property. When we went to the inn's listed address, we found no signage for Two Medicine Inn. We kept walking around the block trying to find the inn, but couldn't. Finally we had to ask a cleaning lady at EGM Cabins & Apartments (a nearby motel) who happened to be talking to the manager of Two Medicine Inn. The manager had the cleaning lady drive us to another property with signages for "Dancing Bears" that was a 25 min walk. The property looked like a 50-year-old motel. The carpet was dirty and there were flies in the room which we had to kill. The window opened to the corridor and the thin curtain couldn't black out the corridor lighting. The walls were thin and we heard the manager and a man yelling at each other within hours of checking in. The TV in our room didn't work. There was no breakfast until we asked about it, so we didn't get it the first morning. There was no kitchenette (only a microwave and a coffee maker with exposed ground coffee that didn't look fresh) and no desk in the room nor separate dining area in the inn, so we had to eat our breakfast standing up in our room. The manger told us that there was a "recent change of management" and thus things were a bit disorganized with no proper signage for the inn. However, when we searched the internet for previous reviews under "Dancing Bears" and "EGM Cabins", we found claims of "management change" going back for the last 5 years.

Bathroom door was broken. No hot water in the shower. The host did not prepare the room until late in the evening. Bed matress condition was terrible. No breakfast was served when a continental breakfast was included in the booking. The host is unrealiable and unreachable. Would not recommend anyone staying here.

I will start off by saying that the host for our stay was very nice. She provided us with maps and recommendations for our stay. However, it is not as advertised. The photos do not represent where you actually stay. The name isn’t even the same. There was a bunch of confusion before our arrival. We were sent 2 different addresses. We also had a lady walk into our room because she was told that it would be her room. There are 2 different locations - but neither are called “two medicine inn”. If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend this location as you can hear everything from the rooms adjacent.

This property is NOT what is represented on the website. The photos do not come close to showing what this place is really like which is very low quality. Mismatched bed covers (The name is not even accurate- there is NO Two Medicine Inn. The address given is not accurate either. I am currently seeking a refund. I walked into the room and was shocked. Down duvets are advertising- there were two mismatched polyester covers. Honestly, this is such dishonest advertising.

We booked a hotel for two medicine inn and on the day of our arrival, we got a text to go to a different address than listed. we went there and it was dancing bear inn that we were supposed to stay in. I would have been fine if the motel was in good shape but there were plenty of flies inside the room. the windows were shut closed and we cant open them to let some cool air in since it was warm our first night. The wifi was barely working. perhaps since we were at the end of the building. There was no breakfast when it was advertised in two medicine that breakfast was included. The room was clean and basic but obviously old. the lady noel who checked us in was very nice and helpful so that was a redeeming factor.

This was the best last minute decision we made. Reserved a room for one night so we could take more time on the East side of Glacier. Our hosts were able to provide hiking and activity and food option information. They were extremely friendly and accommodating and really made our stay great.

The host was extremely thoughtful and helpful throughout my stay. They had a keen knowledge of the entire area surrounding Glacier Park, and gave great advice for hikes to take and sights to see, based on how long I was staying.
