The home is very sparsely furnished and decorated, but adequate if you donât plan to spend much time there. Keep in mind itâs an older building, so thereâs a musty smell when you enter, and noise from neighbors can carry between units.Overall, it was fairly clean, though we did notice some mold in the upstairs bathroom. The closets and storage areas need attention, especially one that still had items left behind (an old bed, shoe, suitcase, etc.).Arriving at night was difficultâno light was left on, and finding the correct door wasnât easy.We mainly used the home to sleep and have morning coffee, which worked fine. However, itâs not a comfortable space for cooking meals or relaxing.Beds: Comfortable.Kitchen: Serviceable but lacks counter space and a dishwasher. No real dining tableâjust a small table and a bench.Outdoor space: Run down and not usable.Stairs: VERY steep.Some simple updatesâlike adding a dining table, kitchen island, and coffee table; improving the outdoor area; leaving a light on for arrivals; and adding some dĂ©corâwould make the home much more welcoming and comfortable. Still, it met our basic needs for the stay.
