A lovely hotel with all the facilities except a car park. But there's plenty off parking nearby, so not a problem. Our room was clean, bright and had a wonderful outlook. Definitely worthwhile having a sea view room. The bar was well stocked and the restaurant served top quality food which was cooked to perfection. But a special thanks must go to all the hard working staff that made our short stay most enjoyable.

Family-run hotel with great customer service

The Lansdowne is an amazing family-run hotel in a great location for exploring the scenic town of Eastbourne. The breakfasts are superb and the traditionally furnished lounge is a tranquil spot to while away some time boosted by the backdrop of sensational sea views. The bar menu offers some nice snacks too.The hotel provides reasonably priced parking permits so you can park opposite the hotel.
The scenery in Eastbourne is amazing.
The pier is an amazing focal point.
The architecture in Eastbourne is so elegant.
The famous gold dome at Eastbourne Pier.

Lovely seafront hotel, well maintained.

Lovely hotel and some characterful communal areas and relaxing lounges. Clean and spacious rooms. Great location. Only issue was a loud fan noise coming from the kitchen - were told it would be switched off by 9pm but it wasn't - but after a follow up call it was switched off at 9:30pm.
