The kitchens had everything we needed and more (well, other than ice). While it was clearly communicated that there wouldn't be ice, I do feel like a tabletop ice maker would be easy to add for convience. Especially with few options of places to get ice. We had everything needed for the game room, ping pong table, and even life jackets for the lake which were heavily used and loved! We were also graciously given a late check out which was incredibly helpful for such a large house. The neighborhood was super quiet and beautiful, deer everywhere!

Tried to contact about some issues found upon arriving got no response. Texted and called number in regards to trash and got no response. With a house that big more bathrooms and better AC. Really hot at night in bedrooms. The light in one of the bedrooms would turn on and off in the middle of the night. We had to unscrew the lightbulbs. The last night the fan in the same room would change speed without anyone touching it.

Amazing stay for our family

From the first step into the home, we felt welcomed. As each of our family members walked in the house they felt the warmth. The home was exact as the photos showed. There was plenty of space for all of us. Sitting on the back porch was so peaceful and having my coffee early in the morning, loved it. While there we were able to create new memories. And Kellie was so responsive and attentive to us before, after, and during our stay. Our family wants to make this as part of our family plans yearly. Can’t wait until the next time.

Beautiful property.

We chose this property because of the 7 bedrooms. 3 are upstairs with one being a very large master with ensuite bathroom. The other 2 are on the other side with a bathroom in between them. The kitchen has a very large island which we used a lot. There was very little room, however, to store canned, boxed, or other types of non-refridgerated food. The downstairs is a mirror of upstairs with another master bedroom with an attached bathroom that also opens to the hall for access for the other bedrooms. That kitchen does have a pantry closet. outside is lovely but not enough outdoor furniture. We loved the dock for fishing and the fire pit for roaring fires every night. The large front porch and ping pong table was fun too! There were 15 of us and we had enough room but we did have to seat some at the large bar to all be together for the Thanksgiving meal as the table only seats 8 comfortably. Some went exploring in the little downtown area of Sparta but there is not much there! This is perfect as a true getaway!

Short Getaway

This is our second year staying at this property because it offers everything we need for a nice, short getaway. We appreciate the commitment to make sure all of the basics are provided, like coffee, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels. We brought some of these items with us, but it was nice to know they had us covered if we forgot something. It is always a pleasure to stay here!

My family enjoyed our stay, everything was very clean and it was spacious enough for all of us. It is equipped with everything you need. Good response from host when called for a minor incident that resolved itself. I would recommend to large groups.

Great Family Getaway

This house was perfect for my family of 14! The house was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools, and we loved that there were 2 kitchens! Plenty of games and activities to keep the kids entertained and two great porches to hang out on. Loved this house and had great communication with the property manager. Definitely recommend!

Excellent lakefront property

We really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room for our three families. We rented a pontoon boat that we took out on the lake two days in a row. Very beautiful lake, the water felt great! Easy to go out for a few hours and then dock at the house for lunch and then go back out again. Two kitchens and both were well stocked with cooking supplies. The beds were incredibly comfortable- we all commented on the mattresses. The game room and ping pong table were fun and the huge grassy lawn up to the water was so beautiful and fun for the kids to run on. A very memorable weekend for all of us!

My brother and I played ping pong he fell and hit his head. We had to go to top of hill to call 911 he was rushed to hospital over an hour away and we are still there and had little to no communication with family. People need to know when they rent that they are cut off from the world !!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Family Vacation

Our family of 14 gathered for 5 days and enjoyed our stay so much! The house is spacious and well layed out, with plenty of space for sleeping, dining and family activities. The game room and ping pong table were a big hit! We also happened to be there for some beautiful weather, so we had plenty of time to play on our jet ski and I. The water, but had there been a rainy day, we still would’ve had plenty of options to entertain ourselves in the house.

The perfect getaway

This property is everything posted and more! We booked this listing last min but just in time for mothers day and man where the mothers happy with the outcome. The house is extremely clean and absolutely beautiful with enough stuff to stay inside all day in the event of rain or if some people of your group just do not like the outdoors. On the other hand for those who enjoy the outdoors, there is enough going on on the property to prevent you from even being able to enjoy the luxuriousness of the house from kayaking to stores on the fire pit, from swimming and fishing to just outdoor sitting, with a yard big enough to accommodate any outdoor games you could ever want to play. We went with 3 couples 2 grandparents and 8 kids from 6 to 14 and everyone had a great time. **Last but not least the host was amazing and kept in touch during our stay to ensure that everything was to our liking and in working order. She was personable in her conversations and really seemed like she wanted to give us a all around great experience and that is 100% what she provided. Also to note the front porch has a ramp making it handicap accessible on the main level which also has a huge back porch overlooking the yard and the lake which came in clutch for the grandparents during our stay. Not a single person could be left out while staying at this listing.
