Nice big bedroom, parking lot with ample space. However, the table surfaces are sticky in the pub and eating areas. Also, people staying multiple nights experience the same breakfast foods every morning without variations.

Lovely staff tired room.

Lovely warm staff, room looked a bit tired, splash marks on the walls, veneer peeling off bathroom units, chipped bath. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Slightly disappointed that the restuarant didn’t serve any Scottish dishes at all or have any cask ales (particularly as it is a Marston’s pub).

The hotel is becoming a bit run down. Our toilet smelled of rotten drains. Told reception but nothing was done about it. For 3 days there was a plastic container on the stairs so the cleaners didn’t go near there

Chain Runner for the win!

Great spot to stay if flying in or out from Edinburgh. Decent value. Condition and quality was better than expected. On site restaurant was very good with extensive menu. Nikki was so wonderful and kind!

The hotel is close to the shopping area of Livingston. It has everything that you would need, from good parking, to fabulous food next door in their restaurant to easy EV charging facilities. The room is comfortable, with everything you need, kettle, TV, free WiFi. Highly recommended.

The staff were mostly friendly. No wash clothes. No extra toilet paper. The front desk is in the restaurant next door so there is no one near by for assistance. No elevator either, so we had to carry luggage up/down stairs.

Pleasant stay.

We had a 3 night comfortable stay at hotel. The room was clean, spacious and well prepared. Had dinner from the pub every night and their food was great and reasonably priced. There wasn't much needed from the staff but they were friendly professional and helpful when needed. We found the location to be immensely ideal when visiting Edinburgh. 6-7 minute to Livingston North train station with free parking, 2 big shopping centres with many eating options in walking distance,Starbucks right in front. I would like to suggest the management to pay little attention to the middle access door to the rooms which is noisy specially when there is a lot of guests movement. Maybe a soft close mechanism would mitigate the issue. Also the cosmetic appearance of the rooms could be improved. It would also be a bonus to provide family rooms with some wardrobe, specially for the ones staying few nights. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at hotel.
