I stayed in the Courtroom and was pleasantly surprised with how comfy the beds were. Bathrooms were clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious, and I liked the option of pre-ordering it through their guest portal to save a few ££. Would recommend!

Great location in Old Town

Great stay, clean and close to everything. Only downside was the alleyway behind the hostel (where our windows faced) was extremely noisy with people yelling at each other until 4 am!!

Good hostel. It is the middle of the old town. Very convenient for visiting all the attractions. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Staffing is very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The staff were nice, bathrooms were pretty clean, but the rooms were very smelly and bizarre that the pods/booking doesn’t include a towel for the bathroom, it was an extra fee.

Pleasantly surprised

First time staying in a pod hostel. Fantastic staff, good events, also reasonably quiet. Downsides were no male bathroom on the third floor (because the female was out) and no sign when it would be fixed. They are also doing construction work above the third floor and started a bit early at 8am. Also not the hostels fault but guests letting the heavy dorm doors slam was inconsiderate at best, perhaps a dampener is required

Location is Unbeatable

I stayed in a pod. The mattress, sheets, and duvet were very comfortable. My room was very hot at first- I think the AC wasn’t working. But they brought in a portable unit that made it a perfect temperature in the room. All the staff is very nice. I do kind of wish there was a bit of a common area that wasn’t just in the bar/restaurant to make phone calls, etc. in a quieter space without having to disturb roommates. The location is unbeatable- right in the heart of the Royal Mile and Old Town. They also offer activities and a free walking tour which I really appreciated. I would recommend it if you are looking for a hostel experience.

The room and bed were nice. Neat atmosphere. The staff was nice and friendly, but they were almost too friendly. They were just talking and chatting with customers when there was a line 4-5 people deep My biggest frustration though is that they had me on the third floor with no working bathroom. They never told me this when I checked in. When I went to use the bathroom, it was shut down for renovations. This meant if I needed to get up in the middle of the night I had to go outside my room, walk down the hallway, take the elevator or the stairs to go down a floor, walk down the hall to go to the bathroom. I really feel the lady at the desk should’ve told me before I checked in there was no working men’s bathroom on the entire floor. When I went downstairs to see if they had another POD available on a different floor, I waited in line for over 20 minutes without being able to talk to somebody. While I waited I ended up booking a private hotel room six blocks away and just ate the money.

We stayed at the private suite. Room wasn’t cleaned properly (garbage cans were full, sink clogged with hair, dirty shower). I guess that’s what you can expect of hostel. Location was the only positive thing I can say.

Best location. Smack bang in the middle of old town. Lovely staff. Great service all around. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Showers working perfectly. They have free activities at the reception, great way to meet people. Spacious and comfortable pods. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.

Great location and price and friendly staff. Private rooms are small, but beds are comfy. En suites are a bit difficult due to the room available, and water gets everywhere when you shower. There was also a fair bit of brown water stains in the corners of the shower.

Great facilities, especially for the price. The pods are a decent size, with comfortable beds, multiple lights, your own plugs for charging, and a decent sized safe for storing your belongings. The location is very central and the staff are extremely helpful.
