The property itself was spacious however it very hot and no way to turn off the heat as well no proper mirror and outlet anywhere to dry our hair. The fact that there are no lifts should be advertised before a booking is made. One bath towel per person for a five day stay in not acceptable. There was no top sheet on the bed and no air circulation in the bathroom. All in all I would not stay at a destiny property again
We loved the central location, it was right across Princess street gardens and bus stops.
The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Would do it again.
Highly recommended
Easy to find and keypads made for easy access. No lift, so we stored our large suitcases at the nearby office. Nicely equipped kitchen with a washer/dryer combo!
Low water pressure in shower, hard, uncomfortable bed. All the doors are on auto shut, so each room is isolated from each other; not a warm, welcoming feeling.
The place was very new and clean and had a great peek-a-boo view of Edinburgh Castle across the way.
Staying here was such a wonderful surprise after many hotel rooms. The space alone is worth it - it's so spacious! The neighborhood is walkable and lovely with so many food and shopping options. Taking the Airlink from the hotel puts you right outside. It was so easy to check in and out. We loved it.
The apartment itself is okay. The beds are uncomfortable, the pull out couch has a urine stain on it, all of the doors are weighted so they slam and you can hear it from your neighbors. The washing machine provided ruined one of my sweaters with stains from the detergent and the cycle to wash and dry takes about 8 hours. The view is nice but thatâs about the only high point of this property. There is no elevator so you will have to climb three flights of stairs with all of your luggage. They will not let you know about parking, you have to ask. When we arrived we did ask and they had us driving around for 1.5 hour looking for something that wasnât there only to finally tell us they had a private parking lot. We went in the office to let them know we had a bad experience and they just told us âOk, have a nice dayâ.
Extremely conveniently located in the city for reaching all the nearby museums, galleries, Calton Hill etc and 5 minutes walk from Waverley Station. Apartment is gorgeous, has everything you need for a short stay and was very comfortable. Excellent!
Loved Edinburgh of course, Chisholm Hunter Suites are excellent, would have been good to spend a lazy day inside but too much to do and see. Couldn't get a late check-out which would have been very helpful, but had luggage storage at the office nearby, and light rail to airport just outside.
