The apartment was very clean, and comfortable with plenty of space for 4 of us. Location was very central, perfect to explore Edinburgh. The stairs leading up to the property are actually narrow concrete spiral stairs, particularly worn between floors 2&3. The bedrooms had plenty of storage space although the bed in the main bedroom was a double, not a kingsize bed as described. Also please note that the light in the main bedroom needs changing and the shaver point in the bathroom doesn't work. Check in is a bit of a process with the Boarding pass and I still had to contact for code information, the response was immediate and so sorted very quickly.

Epic view of Edinburgh castle
was worth the 102 steps up the stairs to the room. Could use additional hand rail on wall side of spiral staircase. Very cool older building. The wind whistled up there

Location is great. View of castle beautiful. Nice layout and comfortable beds. Kitchen had most of what we needed. No great coffee maker. Directions to the address should be a little clearer.And lots and lots of stairs - so not great for all. Overall, a very nice place and would highly recommend.

The apartment location was as close to Edinburgh castle as you can get, with restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance. The rooms and the view were beautiful. The only difficulty was getting up the stairs to the apartment with our luggage, but it was worth the stairs for the views.

We were supposed to stay for several nights (parents and 2 young children) but decided to leave shortly after arriving because there is a serious mold situation in the bathroom. Additionally, because it was warm in the apartment with no air conditioning, we had to open the windows and then lots of flies and bees swarmed into the apartment. We were aware of the issue with there being lots of stairs, so that didn’t bother me, although the state of the stairwell is dark and scary and leaves a terrible impression.

The property is very nice. Wi-Fi worked well. Fantastic location. Those 4 flights of stairs are no joke though! The check-in/boarding pass is confusing and difficult to maneuver. Liked the info it gives, just a pain to have to get to all of the time.The beds were comfortable. Lots of towels and good bedding.

Amazing location. Comfortable interior. Difficult entryway - but included forewarning about the stairs. Missing some essentials like extra trash bags, dish soap - yet requested the guest to handle trash and dishes before checkout. Towel warmer/dryer only worked on the bottom few rungs. Floor lamp in living room non-functional. Overall really great, with some minor fixes possible.

This is a fantastic flat in a great part of old town Edinburgh. You can't beat its proximity to the castle and Grassmarket. The beds are very comfortable the kitchen is small, but complete and the views are excellent. The only downside is that the flat is on the top floor with no lift. It's not suitable if you have a lot of heavy luggage. If you're going to stay here, pack light.

This location and its views are incredible! We were thrilled to be directly next to the castle and Old Town. The only drawback is that there are 4 flights of winding steps up to the apartment, which is stated clearly in the desciption; however, it is quite a lot. We would definitely stay here again!

AMAZING!

The apartment was amazing. The location was beyond amazing as we were on the 5th floor and were right next to the castle and could view the castle right from our windows. The castle night lighting was great. We could walk to 100 shops, bars and restaurants. We parked 1/4 mile down the road (after we dropped off our luggage) and we walked to everything that we needed. Highly recommend and I would 100% stay here again when I visit the city again.

Great place to recover from jet lag

Well appointed apartment, close to the train station and well equipped. A little noisy at night from foot traffic and no views but comfortable and we were able to walk everywhere without issue.

Great flat

Excellent property, perfectly located with an amazing view of the castle. Make sure you get the email ahead of time with the information request, it will make check in easier. Would stay here again. The stairs can be a deterrent for people with knee or weight issues. I would not recommend if you are not able to climb five flights of tight winding stairs with luggage. It was perfect for our group.

Fantastic Location

Apartment was really clean, had all that we needed for our 5 day stay. Location was fantastic, right near the castle at the top of the Royal Mile. Other than the stairs to get up to the apartment was easy to go anywhere. Now about the stairs...they were no joke....we knew about them and were ready for them on arrival but if you are not fairly fit you may have to pause two or three times going up. other than the stairs

We were not familiar with Edinburgh before booking - but could not have asked for a better location or property quality. We were literally located next to Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile. We were able to walk EVERYWHERE we wanted to see, even to the train station and back. Unit was amazing, communication stellar. Just an incredible stay. Thank you so much for really making our first time in Scotland memorable.
