This quirky and unique little garden pod was the perfect place for us to stay whilst visiting family in Edinburgh! Warm, cosy and comfortable, with a bus stop nearby for travel to the city centre, we found that we had picked a perfect little gem with this property! The hosts were only ever a call or text message away. and were extremely helpful and accommodating! We would happily stay here again đđ
First holiday away together and was a lovely place to visit. Close to Edinburgh!
I feel the place needs to be deeper cleaned but a pleasant stay overall !
The pod was amazing very clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed and a few little extras. The bed sofa was already made up ready for us on arrival as we didnt get they till late at night. The surrounding was beautifully and a very lovely village. There was buses every 15mins into Edinburgh itself.
Me and my family couldn't fault our stay. 5*****
Great location if you do not want to be in the heart of the city. A bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the Park. Very quite and safe complex. Great owners who make your reservation and trip to Edinburgh very pleasing. I would definitely stay here again.
Just had a great two nights at Kevock Vale Park. Donât think I can add much more to what everyone else has already said about what a nice couple Dave and Val are, and how cosy and clean the accommodation is.
We got some pretty rubbish weather, so dropped our two girls at Ryze (10 minutes away) and went to Fort Kinnaird shopping centre (another 10 minutes). When it brightened up in the afternoon we went a lovely walk up the Pentlands (park at the ski centre and then follow the signs Capital View walk).
Back at the lodge we cooked steaks and ribs on the outdoor hot-plate (Nicola and Boris have virtually locked everything else up) which went down well after all the fresh air and exercise.
The next morning we had the thrill of going round Ikea (again, just 10 minutes away) before heading home.
If you are looking for a few days away, especially with a couple of 11/12 year old girls, this is perfect. Although, looking at the nearby golf courses, I can also see me using this as a base for a future getaway without my family!
Thanks again, Val and Dave.
This was such a lovely wee cabin but the people who own it made it extra special ! They were so welcoming and helpful and kind ! They left milk and biscuits for us arriving as well as tea and coffee. They also have some gorgeous rescue animals close by which the children loved ! Pigs , ducks , chickens and a pony. Lovely quiet but central location right beside the river. We will be back again Iâm sure. Thank you so much !
This place is amazing. I recommend staying here. The area is peaceful and you can relax completely. Itâs on the river bank and you can hear the river from the inside. We went and celebrated New Years here so we were very happy the place was warm an cozy. They have all type of board games, a kitchen with everything you may need and the owners were very nice and friendly.
Lovely stay in a pod. It was a bit quirky and different to places where we normally stay but thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a bit small for us but it had everything we needed and appreciated the wee extras like milk in the fridge and the couple of Tunnock biscuits. The owners were exceptionally nice and very helpful.
