Nice spacious room and good ensuite. Restaurant was good but was very busy and not enough sitting space to enjoy a drink while waiting for a table. Would recommend.
One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. Due to weather forcing a change in travel plans, I could not arrive on the day of my reservation. I tried for two days to reach Premier Inn customer service and the front desk. When I finally was able to get a human on the phone, I was informed I had to call the front desk. They never picked up.
I messaged Premier with a request for help, explaining my issue. More than a week later, I was told they couldnât help because I booked on Expedia. I was charged full price, turning an already frustrating trip into a bigger nightmare.
I learned a valuable lesson - avoid Premier Inn and all Whitbread properties at all costs!
And, after years of relying on Expedia, I might not return.
I will be sharing this experience with my friends and colleagues far and wide!
Can you please make it clearer in the name of the hotel that there are two airport hotels? I went to the wrong one and had to taxi across to the other.
Pros: super close to airport; food is decent onsite for dinner, didnât get a chance to try breakfast as we have an early flight. Restaurant service was a little slowâŠprobably staffing issue but the second hostess was really nice and warm. The steak was over cooked; when I mentioned it to the hostess, she immediately took the steak back into the kitchen to have another steak prepared to my liking. The (new) chef came out to apologize and to check on us. I really appreciate that.
Cons: first room offered has a bad intolerable odor; requested another room which has a faint odor but was tolerable for the one night. The lady in the front seemed cold and indifferent. When we went to the restaurant, despite it was half empty, the same lady told us to come back in hour and an half because we didnât have a reservation. Lastly, just as an FYI, the hotel charges ÂŁ7 for one night parking in their lot.
Staff helpful. Parking easy but you have to pay. Room clean. I booked a king bed and got a queen that was not very comfortable. Pretty sure I paid a bit more for the king bed I didnât get. Did not eat at the restaurant. Close to airport.
