Staff was on point friendly chatty very approachable room was clean welcoming. There is a bus stop right outside on both sides of the road so easy to get in to Edinburgh. The beach is a five minutes walk.

staff are so lovely, very welcoming. rooms are spacious and beds comfy. carpets are dirty, bathroom was a bit mouldy and the door handle fell off… apart from that i can’t fault them
The room was clean, but very cold when we arrived at 5 Oclock. Itcwould have been good if tge heating had been on for our arrival.We had a meal in the restaurant, it was very nice and staff were friendly. When we got back to our room at 7 oclock the heating was on and room had warmed up. The bed was 2 singles put together unfortunately one of the matresses was very uncomfortable the other matress was good. We were in room 5.

The Heating rooms cold heating not coming on until 8.20 am
Check in was quick and service was very friendly. Parking handy although we were lucky to get last space. Room small but nice. Noise from function room not ideal when trying to get to sleep. Lovely location.
Lovely little hotel and restaurant with exceptionally good staff in both bar and restaurant, breakfast was lovely, check in and out easy and straightforward.
The rooms in the hotel are nice and clean. It was a bit noisy with a singer on in the bar, his volume was ok it was some of the guests who were enjoying themselves that were very loud. Breakfast was fantastic, lovely fresh hot food. Shame there was no orange juice.
Will certainly recommend and stay again if the opportunity arises.

Whilst I appreciate there was a no cancellation policy, due to a family bereavement, I asked Hotels.com to cancel the booking for me. They spoke to The Hotel and explained who had died. The Hotel point-blank refused to allow me to cancel. Totally unsympathetic uncaring. Passed the Hotel later on we’re looking for a venue for the wake - lots of mess outside the front door looks like a litter bin had been tipped upside down by the front door. Staff passed it and did nothing. Appears their attention to detail was equally as low as their customer service.
