Property want very tidy, needed to get them in to clean again the day after we arrived, laundry room had a mop that stunk so bad of mold, the mop was filthy we had to bag it up 2 times to get rid of the odour. There is a pub outside of the building and it was loud. Location is to train station, lots of buses available and itâs walking distance to Leith, and Easter Toad and Princess Street.
Stayed so that we could visit the City Centre and Christmas markets. The location was ideal only a 10-15 min walk from the city centre or a few stops on the bus. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We didnât eat in so didnât have to use the kitchen much except to make coffee. The coffee machine is great but as it takes the Nespresso Vertuo pods if you want to make coffee you would need to buy them before arriving as you can only get these from Nespresso shops or mail order, I had ordered them from Amazon. I have no complaints at all about the property, it is as it appears the photos, probably a little larger than we were expecting. I would certainly stay there again, if you are driving, we booked parking in advance at q-park Omni in the city which was very reasonable and easy to do.
Kudos to the entire crew downstairs. Special mention to Duncan and more special mention to Ania for her very thoughtful and caring demeanor. 5 stars for everyone.
Great property and location, horrible management company support
The apartment is lovely! Clean and located at the end of the Royal mile, across the street from the bus station and walking distance to Waverley train station (1/2 mile)
I would recommend the property and appreciated the affordable pricing compared to other accommodations in town. Very disappointed with the management company; given wrong code, lock box on a dark street, coffee pot broken with no solutions offered.
We were so grateful and please to stay at Abbeyhill. Not only was the apartment in an amazing location, but it was incredibly well appointed. The photos online did not do it justice, itâs clear the owners have put consideration into the big and little details of this flat. The space is beautiful, tasteful, and comfortable. It was incredibly convenient to walk into the bigger draws of the city, but still felt removed enough from the tourist bustle. Being able to nip in for coffee in the morning at Fortitude or a drink at Regent in the evening was a huge, but lovely bonus. We plan to share this listing with friends and plan to stay here on our next trip to Edinburgh.
