âŠ.. was on the royal mile and u could watch people walking by ⊠would Definately book again
Amazing find, in the heart of the Royal Mile. I was traveling for work. The apartment was lovely, Sacha provided excellent communication, and went above and beyond when a day after checkout we discovered we had left a jacket behind she found it and drove across the city to return it to us within 20 minutes, incredible customer service!! The only negative was Edinburgh had garbage strikes, which was such a shame as its really is a beautiful city.
If you're looking for a place to stay that puts you right in the middle of all the action in Old Town Edinburgh, book this place ASAP. The Castle is just a short walk up the hill, almost every tour you want to take meets right across the street, and you are just upstairs from all the souvenir shopping you could possibly want to do! We loved this central location. I would urge caution if you are looking for a quiet place away from it all after a long day of touring. This is NOT your place. We would have liked a clock on the wall, a box of tissues available, and more than two rolls of toilet paper for a week-long stay. Other than that, we found this a charming home for our stay in Scotland.
The comfortable second floor apartment with kitchen and modern amenities is centrally located on the busy Royal Mile. From the window, we were able to watch the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo march from Edinburgh Castle to St. Giles Cathedral and Prince Charles walk into the cathedral during Holyrood Week. Street musicians and bagpipers entertained us every day. Must be able to walk stairs. Hooks and hangers for clothes, not an American closet. We didn't mind. We loved our stay in Old Town Edinburgh.
Dejlig lille lys lejlighed. Udsigt til livlig gÄgademiljÞ men ingen biler. SovevÊrelse lÄ ud til stille gÄrdrum. Godt sted at spise morgenmad lige over gaden.
Very central for Old Town. Atmospheric and quiet in the evening. Busy from around 10 with tours etc but thats no problem. Sacha was cery helpful and answered any questions i had promptly. Nice cosy flat with everything you need. 5 mins walk to Edinburgh castle.
The location is unbeatable. The flat is right across the Writer's museum and is in the heart of the old town. It is walking distance to the Edinburgh castle and to all the old town attractions and about 4 minute walk to a grocery store.
Sasha (property manager) was very responsive and made us welcome and helped us get settled in. The rooms are bright and clean and includes a kitchenette, fridge and a washer and perfect for families. I highly recommend the property.
