The staff were absolutely lovely. It is hard to find a hotel these days that offers this level of comfort, service, and quality. I love the classic style and was unexpectedly thrilled at how welcoming they were to both my dogs and I - there is even a little green space right outside the courtyard for them to relieve themselves. A wonderful little gem - smack dab downtown! The beds are very comfortable and the restaurant upstairs is an upscale experience.

The fire alarm went off early morning Fire trucks were called to the hotel. Then the power went out on our floor. Ended up some people went around and pulled fire alarms and turned the breakers off that were in the stairwell. So wasn't a great night. Also we wern't told that we had to pay for parking when we checked in and got a hefty parking ticket when we left

When I stay in Edmonton, my favorite place to stay is the Chateau Lacombe. I have had the pleasure of being checked in by David on nearly every stay, and its always nice to see a familiar face, he is a great representative of the hotel. The security staff are professional amd polite. The foos is great. I like the plsce!
