The room was very clean and the ac was so cold at night! From check-in to bartenders to check out, I can literally say Costa Rica has amazing people working at their hotels. The drinks and the atmosphere was so welcoming. I traveled alone to this hotel for 5 days and definitely feel it wasn’t enough.

Dirty laundry bags upon request, better food, more local food dishes, pool bar open to at least 8:00pm, also some control of the people at the beach. The excursion people are not as bad as the people trying to sell items and or massages. Those people bugged the life out of you and make you not even want to go to the beach the Riu in Montego Bay. Jamaica controls their sellers by keeping them in the water. They are not allowed on the same part of the beach, maybe implicate that because it is harder for them to bug the people on vacation from the water versus walking all on the sand everywhere again I think the people on the beach offering excursions is a huge plus also helps out small local companies and the local economy, but being asked 50 times a day to buy a bracelet, whistle, Massage is a little crazy loved the overall cleanliness and friendliness of all staff. Also more adult related shows at the Riu Guanacaste!

When we first checked in the first room that they gave us was not spotless at all. I asked for an upgrade and then when we got that it was spotless and no complaints. Overall, we had a good time. The wait time for restaurants. It’s a little bit ridiculous for me, but the buffet had delicious food morning, lunch and dinner.

The hotel is fine. Stuff is friendly. Although we didn’t have soap refill and coffee supply for a few days and had to call the reception. We had all inclusive package and used Nexus as a transportation provider . It was a private bus, we had to pay $188 round trip from airport to the resort and back . Although on the way back their bus didn’t come on time so we had to use an ultimate transportation and pay again! They refused to refund half of this amount. So keep in mind! You may be late because of that! They also provide excursions, so pay attention. Overall, I would recommend Riu Guanacaste!

We didn’t like how dirty the beach was. No food or beverage service at pool or beach. Pool was dirty as well with plates and cups everywhere. Tables were all sticky. Wished there were more restaurants that weren’t buffets. Everything started tasting the same. A lot of the same food at all the buffets. Room was nice.

So beautiful! If I had to complain about something it would be getting enough towels in your room . Again not a big deal but if I had to come up with something. Also it would be really nice to have servers coming around the pool area when the pool bar is shut down due to maintenance. There was a couple days where this happened and had to get out to get drinks. Again not that big of a deal. Overall I can’t to go back. Absolutely recommend

The room was clean, the view was beautiful. The resort has been renovated and was very comfortable. The food was just ok in each restaurant as well as the buffet. Most of the drinks seem to be watered down. I had 3 drinks, but never felt a buzz at all. The shows performed in the evening were all exceptional. The parties were very fun.

Staff was very nice, except when they kicked us out after check out. We had to leave for the airport 6 hours before our departure time instead of sitting by the pool for the day. Very inconsiderate given the fact we paid for this whole day.
