-This is a gated resort full of amenities: basketball/tennis courts, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor heated pool, game room, parks, river access, arcade and gym.

Amenities for the resort are free up to 8 guest.

Deer heaven. Most guest will see many many deer on their trip. Cabin has whole house generator so you will always have power.

NOTE! There are 4 private bedrooms and the 5th is the loft with Queen over Full XL bunk. We have a privacy panel in the loft starting February of 2026

We allow up to 2 dogs that are not over 50lbs each. No cats.

May-August the fireplace and outdoor heater is turned off.

Cold plunge has chiller unit for Spring, Summer and Fall months to keep the water cold. Winter months the chiller is brought inside to prevent freezing damage. Water is cooled with ambient winter air.

March 2026 there will be barrel Sauna.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Riverside Park. An indoor pool, a gym and 1 hot tub are available. The cabin includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

We had a great time. The fire pit area with lots of seating around it was our favorite part. Spent each night playing games down in the game room and mornings having coffee around the fire as well. The house was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. We would certainly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at The Blue Bear cabin. It had plenty of room for all 7 of us & the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the game room with a great table available for us girls to play cards. Great TV's for watching Georgia-Florida Football game.We really enjoyed the outside firepit with the comfortable sectional to sit on. Blue Bear Cabin was very easy to get to & the cabin was at the end of road, so was quiet & relaxing. I would recommend spending some relaxing time at Blue Bear Cabin. Sawyer, our host was very prompt in sending messages about our stay & information that was needed for us & answering my questions. We had a little issue & Sawyer answered quickly & then it was taken care of. Check it out, it's a very nice place to unwind.The only thing that I would recommend is that "grab bars" be installed in the bathrooms because the tubs are high to get out of.

We celebrated our friend getting married over the weekend and this cabin was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out, and a good mix of communal spaces so we could all be together. We really enjoyed taking photos with the cool moss wall! Cooking was easy and convenient, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the activities set up were super fun. Our host Sawyer was also very communicative and truly wanted us to enjoy our stay!Thank you Sawyer!!

Thanksgiving Family Vacation

We had a great stay at Blue Bear Cabin! Our whole family fit perfectly (party of 12) The cabin is laid out very well, with 3 separate levels for hanging out & activities. Communication with the host was easy & responsive. There was lots to explore within the resort, and near by to the cabin, but the cabin itself had plenty to keep us entertained! Would definitely recommend!

Softball tournaments

We went to Ellijay for my granddaughters 4 day softball tounament. There was 9 of us who went. Unfortunately we had rain on Wednesday and Thursday. The tournament was only playable on Saturday and cacelled again on Sunday. Thank goodness btween the game room ,hot tub, watching the deer and watching movies everyone stayed entertained. The cabin was perfect and we want to visit again with no rain. b nt

Fantastic get away

I hosted my daughter’s college ministry group at Sawyer’s cabin and we had a great time. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Hiking, shopping and the Bigfoot museum! This cabin was well stocked, clean and comfortable. It’s bright, inviting and the perfect spot for a large family gathering. We will come back

Luxury Views and a Cozy Cabin

We had our annual Spring Break trip this week with my in-laws and my two teenaged children and our two fur babies. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our six and an additional five teens who came up for one night (after we got approval from Sawyer) to enjoyed the quiet and comfort of the outdoors. The fire and surrounding chairs and hanging chair (UBER comfy) were perfect for roasting hotdogs and s'mores. The ambient string lighting from the upper deck to the fire pit were the perfect amount of light for cozy talks and reading in the evenings. The game room was fantastic and included a poker table and set of chips/cards. The basement also had a Mr. Packman machine that my father-in-law tried and have the highest score on. There is a small mini-fridge in the basement as well for those who don't want to head upstairs to get drinks. The two TVs on the main and basement floor kept people with differing interests entertained. The kitchen was fully stocked and all appliances that we used were in good condition. (Oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and blender.) Beds were comfy. The master on the main floor was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in while renting. I slept soundly and woke up without any back pain as sometimes happens when it's not "your bed at home." There were plenty of towels and washcloths for all three bathrooms and we had a wonderful time laughing, making memories, fighting over the hanging chairs, and hiking with the dogs. TY

Christmas Cabin

What a magical Christmas we had with our Children and Grandchildren. Plenty of space and activities. We took full advantage of the amenities, even the hot tub in the cold. It was everything we had hoped it would be!

Cabin trip 2022

Sawyer’s cabin was exactly as described online and even better in person! We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend. The cabin is close by to many restaurants, Walmart and even a liquor store. Best cabin we’ve stayed at!

This is the cleanest, most creatively decorated cabin that we’ve ever stayed at (and we make a habit of taking at least 2 cabin trips every year, so we’ve stayed at our fair share of cabins). The owner was very easy to communicate with and very understanding. The location was great, the amenities provided were top notch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need, there are 2 great lounging areas outside, as well as several fire pits and a gas grill. The jacuzzi was very clean and perfectly located under the outdoor string lights. Overall, a great cabin that we’d love to go back to.
