Jillâs home is a Happy Place!!! She pays special attention to detail and making your experience at Sunset Ridge a relaxing stress free experience. The place was very clean and had all amenities of home. Thanks Loved the cabin!!
We really enjoyed our couple of nights in the cabin! Jill was a great host and communicated very well. I loved all the little labels and directions everywhere -- made it very easy to settle in quickly! The outdoor area was our favorite (hot tub and fireplace. Obviously, it's a very simple and small cabin, but very cozy and decorated with beautiful art and stained glass!!The road to the cabin is a long, mostly-gravel/dirt road... it feels private and secluded but not in a creepy way at all! Remember, you're on "mountain time" and you need maybe 10-15 minutes just to get on the main road. For a little extra adventure, next to the covered bridge you can opt to drive through the creek! It's pretty shallow for a typical SUV... probably should have 4x4 to do it. Just a silly little extra detail to the trip haha
Such a cute cabin, feel like your in a treehouse! Great selection of games and outdoor area to get fresh mountain air! Jill is a responsive host and was super easy to reach. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin!
Sunset on the Ridge was the perfect selection for a long overdue mental health long weekend. Communication from initial booking through my checkout was excellent. Jill is very attentive and wanted to be sure that all met my standards upon arrival. The cute cabin was very clean with a warm and welcoming feeling. The amenities are above and beyond what I expected, including Lincoln Logs, which brought back fond childhood memories, as I made a few different iterations of cabins. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub while listening to my favorite music playing on the Pyle Audio Bluetooth speakers that are mounted under the covered deck. I especially enjoyed reading my book while sitting on the comfy swing and taking glances up to enjoy the beautiful sunset. I also enjoyed the close proximity to some of my favorite hiking trails, such a as the Aska trail system in Blue Ridge and all discovered Tumbling Waters trail; a mile long easy hike to a great waterfall with many opportunities to stop and enjoy the creek along the way.
I highly recommend Sunset on the Ridge cabin.
