Offrez-vous le sentiment de l'isolement d'une vaste terrasse surplombant un lac paisible loin de l'agitation de la vie quotidienne. Profitez de la baignade quotidienne dans la belle zone de baignade Ă  fond de gravier au pied de la colline. Savourez des couchers de soleil spectaculaires sur le pont aprĂšs le souper. Cottage a 1 grande cuisine / salle Ă  manger / salon avec 2 chambres sĂ©parĂ©es et une salle de bain complĂšte. La chambre avant a un lit queen et vue sur le lac tandis que la chambre arriĂšre a une vue sur la forĂȘt avec un lit double. Il y a un grand pont avant et 1 petit porche grillagĂ©.

J'utilise le chalet moi-mĂȘme lorsqu'il n'est pas louĂ© et j'ai 3 chats siamois que j'apporte avec moi. Veuillez en ĂȘtre conscient si vous avez des allergies. :)

We had a beautiful and peaceful 5 days at the camp. The camp was immaculately clean, extremely well organized, and provisioned with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in mid-October with overnight lows around 40F and used the electric room heaters but did not need the gas heater or extra / electric blankets.The camp is roughly equidistant between Acadia National Park and Deer Isle and was a great launching point for visits to both. Highlights of our vacation included star-gazing, sunrises, and bald eagle watching from the dock on the lake; Gorham Mountain Trail and Little Hunter's Beach in Acadia; coffee at 44 North and hikes at the Edgar Tennis and Settlement Quarry Preserves on Deer Isle; and drinks at Airline Brewing and dinner at Provender in Ellsworth. Be sure to plan ahead and make reservations for dinner in Ellsworth!

The property was exactly as described, and the host was easy to work with. However, there was an issue with double booking, and someone was already occupying the property when we arrived. The host promptly resolved the problem. Unfortunately, Vrbo was not helpful at all. I made four different phone calls, was placed on hold three times, and they never returned to the calls. On one occasion, I waited on hold for over 15 minutes. During my fourth call, the Vrbo representative said she would contact the host and then call me back. To date, I have not received any follow-up.I am not happy with the service and support I received from Vrbo.I would stay here again.

The cabin is dated but everything was spotless. There was plenty of dishes and supplies. The bed was very comfortable. This is a beautiful place to stay and very, very peaceful and reasonably priced. You are close to Ellsworth which is a cute little town. Great host!

This was a cozy little cabin perfectly situated in the woods. Mornings were peaceful and evenings were tranquil. We slept with the windows open most nights and listened to the sounds of the forest around us, no white noise machine needed!The cabin itself is outfitted with everything you need for an extended stay, only personal toiletries needed. There's brochures for local things to do and places to each, which was a nice touch. We stayed with our two year old, bringing her pack and play, and had plenty of room. We used the cabin as a jumping off point to visit Acadia. It's a bit of a drive but there's plenty to see and coffee shops to try in Ellsworth that keep us busy and well fed during the week. Check in and out was seamless and we loved the ease of our stay. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an authentic camp stay on the lake. I'm hoping to return in the future and use the dock more!

Perfect romantic getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! This was our first trip to Maine and Cindy’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It was cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the nearby activities in Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, and Acadia NP as well as relaxing at the cottage and sitting on the screened in porch. Hearing the loons on the lake in the mornings and evenings was an added bonus! We would stay here again, highly recommend!

My favorite vacation spot every year

We stay at Cindy's place every year (for five years running now) and it is perfect for us. Cozy and perfect for our family of four with two growing teens/young adults two parents and dog but we love it! Highly recommend!

Comfortable, cozy, lakeside home with killer views. It's quiet, well-stocked kitchen (equipment) and is great proximity for so many outings, whether to Acadia, Schoodic, Blue Hill, Deer Isle or . . . And loons.

Patten's Pond Stay

The property is extremely well maintained and has all the necessities for an extended stay. The lake is beautiful and Cindy kept the lake water just warm enough for us to enjoy swimming. The property is conveniently close to a convenience store and two towns with bigger stores if anything more is needed. We recommend at least one visit to the Dairy Port ice cream store in Bucksport. Of course, we mean at least one visit per day. We had a great time and will try to stay again during our next Maine visit. The Taylors

Very basic cabin

The bathroom is outside on the porch and not inside the cabin. There is no main heat throughout the house and the gas wall heater goes out constantly and the floor was freezing from lack of insulation under it. The place was clean.

Secluded but never isolated

What a perfect rustic property. It felt like returning home though it was our first trip to Maine. Beautiful views from the deck, great kayaking from the dock, and close enough to Ellsworth and Acadia to really enjoy the region when we could tear ourselves away from the lake. We barely knew there were other houses around but we never felt isolated. Just the right balance.

Peaceful week on Patten Pond

The cottage is nicely located on a terrace above the pond. It has a beautiful deck partly shaded by tall white pines. There is a natural stone path down to the excellent dock on the pond. (The steps might be hard for seniors or small children). The kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking light meals. The bathroom has been recently updated and the washer and dryer are excellent. The bedrooms, like most cottages, small but both have closet space and drawers for clothes. Access was good and plenty of parking for up to three vehicles. We relied on our cellphones for internet access and reception is excellent, but the wifi limited to a hotspot is very sketchy. Cindy was very easy to communicate with and provides good instructions on most items. We had an excellent week touring local site and eateries and found the cottage met our needs. We would stay here again. Thanks Cindy.
