The trucker started his truck at 6am next to the window and would not leave for 10 minutes. Ruined the sleep

Hotel is good for the money. There was a big truck parked 20ft away from our window and he started it at 5.55am and idled it for 15 mins before leaving waking everyone up. If you want to sleep look for a room away from parked trucks or maybe property should not allow this parking. Hotel guy did appologize for it, but what good is that to me?

Place was a dive. Bordering on hourly. Stained bedspread. Shower plumbing was basically pieced together. Guys at desk were nice but completely unable to accommodate any requests for change in stay. Asked to leave one night early and they said no way. Then they had the balls to lock us out of our room on the second day saying we were late checking out from the first night. Hallways were filthy. Entrance was encumbered with a picnic table and umbrella for the smokers. Cigarette butts everywhere. Guys smoking at the entrance so couldn’t even enter the building without being doused in smoke. Parking lot was big enough but pavement was almost non existent around one of the buildings.

I just stayed one night. Room was fine. Linen was clean. Room had that "motel smell," even though it was a non-smoking room, I could still detect the smell of very old cigarette smoke. I have a very sensitive sense of smell.

I didn't like having to ring the button, then wait for someone to come to check us in, instead of them already being at the reception desk upon arrival. The room was ok but the bathroom needed a better cleaning and updating. The bed was comfortable, however, I will not stay there again.
