Remodeled in 2019, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1800 sq ft property in Encinitas is the perfect beach hangout for your large group! Located 1 mile from the ocean, this upstairs unit has a wonderful view of the water and sunset from both the main living area and the large deck. The large dining area is appropriate for eating food that you bring in from one of the nearby restaurants or meals that you make in the large kitchen, which has recently new stainless steel appliances. When it is time to clean up after a day at highly rated Moonlight Beach, you will find beautiful bathrooms that have been extensively remodeled. When relaxing in the evening, there is a 70" TV to enjoy a streaming device that you choose to bring. The fast wifi allows you and your guests to quickly post any surfing videos from close by and well known Swami's beach or simply catch up on shows you have been meaning to watch. There is off street parking and easy freeway access if you decide to visit downtown San Diego and the Gaslamp Quarter, 25 miles away. Interested in Legoland? 10 miles away. Into Pickleball? Bobby Riggs Racket and Paddle is less than a mile away.

This place was perfect for our family of 4, with plenty of room for extra people, if needed. The sun deck is an amazing spot to hang out any time of day, but especially at sunset! The kitchen had everything we needed, and was well-marked so we didn't have to guess. We were walking distance to a store and restaurant, and about a mile, easy walk, from the beach and downtown Encinitas. We visit here often, and I'm hopeful to never have to book another property, and hope this can be our go-to whenever we return!

It was a good place to stay and I would do it again. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the access, up the stairs to a locked gate at the very top of the stairs with no landing.

Nice stay, front room has a lovely picture window, lots of windows so breezes cool off the house nicely. To note, there is a long staircase going up to second floor unit and there is someone below you. We enjoyed our stay.

The porch was the selling point for us to rent this place but the porch was not clean at all. Needs a refresh. Did tell the owner who was nice about it, hopefully they clean it, paint it and get rid of the rusty furniture. We didn’t end up using that space at all which was a bummer. Otherwise the rest of the house was mostly clean. The location is great and the 3 bedrooms were spacious. With a little sprucing up, this place could be magical.

The steps leading to unit were dirty, with dog hair and dirt . Patio looked clean until we moved couch and the dog hair and dirt was all over. The sliding glass door threshold was filthy. The portable fans for bedrooms were absolutely gross. The rest of the house was in clean status. Quite a bite short on paper products, for 500 a night you could provide more. The kitchen was very nice and clean . THe King bed was very uncomfortable and hard matress

Our stay was lovely. Cute one story home on second floor. All the linen smelled very clean and fresh. Very spacious. It is older than what it seems in the pics but that’s ok. Joe was a great host, made everything super easy for us. He even let us check in early on day of arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place!

Perfect place to stay for our son’s wedding weekend. Great location with easy access to everything…..beach, downtown, trails for walking/running. Clean and kitchen well-stocked. Lovely views and patio too! Would recommend and definitely hoping to return!

Quiet and Comfortable!

We stayed for five days and we were very comfortable. Both the house itself and the neighborhood were quiet, and the off-street parking was so nice. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the ocean in the evenings, the close proximity to the freeway, and the quick and easy access to the beaches and charming downtown area!

Great family gathering place

4 sisters coming for a reunion in the area, having 3 bedrooms was really important. Joe was a great host and gave us extra time on our departure day, much appreciated! Nice to have a larger home to hang and one evening, had a spectacular sunset.
