the property was incredible and our VRBO contact was helpful. We were, sadly, staying after a party before us who left the property in poor shape requiring a later check in that we hoped. In addition the previous guest had smoked indoors leaving a lingering odor and neglected to turn off the gas to the outdoor fire place. It is too bad people aren't more respectful.

Great location and place

We loved the dock/lake access and the facilities but for as expensive as it was and 2k in fees for the trip we were really disappointed in the cleanliness. One of the showers had black hair all over the walls which made us assume it hadn’t been cleaned, and another bed had stains all over the bedspread that looked like it hadn’t been washed at all. There were crumbs throughout the house, that would have been minor if it was the only thing. I also thought for a house in this price range there would be more kitchen amenities-Saran wrap, cooking oil etc. I will say that it was well equipped with baking dishes and pans. Overall it was a great stay but disappointing to pay that much and not have it be clean.

Vacasa Cabin 7

The stay was amazing and very relaxing. Cabin had all the amenities needed. Highly recommend staying here. Was a challenge getting out even with a 4 wheel drive and chains. Had to be winched out. Was able to leave the truck at the top of the drive way only down fall was that we had to pack everything we brought IN and Out but all and all was still a great stay.

Our Daughters Wedding

Home was just as described on VRBO. Great location at the lake with gorgeous view. We rented this home to be more comfortable as we got ready for our daughters wedding in Enterprise (she lives in Enterprise; we do not). Lots of room for everyone to spread out and yet, perfect for us to just sit around, be together and chat.

Birthday Getaway

Had a great 3 night stay for my mom’s 72nd birthday and this home did not disappoint! Gorgeous views from every room, very clean, new couch, great beds and plenty of comfortable space for each of us. Decent kitchen with all the essentials you need to cook and eat in
basement had second fridge if you need extra. Too early to spend much time outside, but there were a few chairs for us to sit in the sun and saw lots of nice looking outdoor furniture in storage. House is a good 15-20 min from town, so make sure you have what you need before heading to the house. And be prepared for a fairly bumpy dirt road
the house is almost at the dead end, which added to the peaceful atmosphere
definitely worth the drive and the dust!

Wallowa Lake Cabin Getaway

I stayed in this cabin along with 6 friends. We had an amazing time. The cabin is charming, spacious and in a prime location on the lake. There is a wrap around deck with patio furniture for lounging and taking in the lake and mountain views. We will definitely stay there again.

Great family reunion home, but not for toddlers.

Beautiful view of lake. The large dock was good for canoe, kayaks, paddleboard which we used to access the beach and park's day use area. Loved watching satellites, space station and shooting stars from the deck at night. Comfortable beds. Difficult gravel and stone path to long flight of stairs to the lake. The grandkids enjoyed playing on the large deck; a more secure gate closure is advised. Open and steep staircases are not for little ones. Could have used additional bath towels.

Very NiceHome

This home is large and comfortable. Easily plenty of room for7-8 people. Views of the lake are wonderful. We stayed in late winter. Snow on the ground and in the air. Home was warm. There is a fireplace allowing you to add some evening cheer. The front porch is large and faces the lake. Follow the instructions on how to get there. NOT YOUR GPS. We followed the instructions. But also had 2 GPS systems running. Instructions are 100% accurate. One GPS Failed. The other was accurate. When we were there roads were still had snow and ice. Would not attempt the drive down Lake Shore RD without 4wd! Driveway is long and steep. It snowed 6in the evening of the day we arrived. Texted the local manager the next morning about getting it plowed as there was no possible way for me to get a car to the top (yes vehicle is 4wd) Had someone out there and the road cleared within 3hrs. The property manager was very responsive. Definitely a gem. There is a local grocery store. Has all you need. But not much variety.

Paradise at The Lake

We so enjoyed our stay at The Golden Saddle, from start to finish it was smooth sailing!! When we arrived at the property it was even More beautiful than the photos!! The house was spotless, the beds comfy, everything you needed to cook a delicious meal was in the kitchen, Every room has a beautiful view from the windows.. plenty of seating out on the gorgeous deck. Our Family felt very much at home.

Beautiful home & location

Such a beautiful home and location at Wallowa. Everything was well kept and clean at the house. They don’t lie about the road and steepness of the driveway but the location is quiet and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked. Lots of cozy features in the home. This would be a great house for family gatherings.

Lake Log Cabin

Nice place, clean, spacious, with great views. Nice kitchen, dining, family room area for family. The gravel road to home is FULL of deep potholes, very bumpy. Gracious neighbors plowed the steep driveway of deep snow so we could get out. Only problem was with vacasa (host). They did not respond to my “ask host a question, “ so after 7 days I had to call. They gave unusual, and incorrect information about kitchen amenities, I even questioned. Vacasa later (1 week) emailed me that home indeed did have basic pots and pans and dishes after I had planned otherwise. A bit frustrating. Correspondence with Vacasa at checking in / out was nice.
