Manger wanted to charge Expedia guests? Employees was nice and did not as I had my toddler and no time to call Expedia from front desk after a long drive. If a hotel has a problem with Expedia- that's between Expedia and hotel - NOT The guest. Lady at the desk very nice

For the most part my family and I were happy with the hotel except for the cleaning service that was supposed to be done during our stay our room should have been cleaned twice and they only came once and all they did was give us towels nothing else that was suppose to be done was very embarrassing having to go ask the front desk for toilet paper. And they need more then one waffle maker and a better variety of breakfast food our food lady wasn't pleasant never smiled always slamming stuff down. But it was a holiday weekend so hopefully if we stay there again we will have a better experience.

The hotel was extremely short staffed. Our room was not fully clean or stocked on arrival-no towels or linen for the pull out and dirty dishes in the dishwasher and kitchen drawer. Room was supposed to be serviced every other day and never was so once again no towels. Each time something was missing we had to go down to the desk from the fourth floor to get towels. They ran out of regular towels the third day of our stay and we were given pool towels and not enough for the family of four.

Property for young sports teams in tournaments. If you’re passing thru with trailor or boat there is no parking so forget it. If they would share that I would have avoided the property worse yet they had no solution and quite frankly didn’t care. Reserve at your own risk!

No Working Microwave

The microwave was broken, which I reported immediately upon check in. We stayed for 2 days an no solution was given. This may seem insignificant but as I explained to the staff- we booked the room based on large fridge and kitchenette to prep all meals for our stay. So not having a microwave we were counting on meant spending hundreds of dollars extra on food for my family's stay. I also reported the microwave on checkout and no consolation prize was given, despite the large sign on the way in that if a customer isn't happy they will be given a full refund. I would have been satisfied with a room swap or plugging in a new microwave in during our stay! Negatives besides the microwave- Pool was dirty, not cleaned daily. Pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable, would not recommend using as your main bed, not even for children. On the positive side- Room was clean, housekeeping staff were friendly, gym was well stocked with weights, and breakfast was decent. However, adding vegan options would have been a big plus.

Price

Stay was fine but a bit expensive just for one night. I just checked the rate for another weekend this month and it was approximately $144 for the exact same room. which is significantly lower than what I paid.

Family Weekend Getaway

Our room was very spacious (especially for the price!) Also provided lots of storage. The microwave was left dirty with cheese melted on the turn style tray. And the bathroom… there was half a roll of toilet paper and no spare rolls were left, the bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all empty! Didn’t matter to us, but we were glad we brought our own and there was hair against the shower wall (not from us!) Also the bathroom door was difficult to lock and when we got it locked, we couldn’t unlock it from the inside of the bathroom. And the fridge made an extremely loud noise on and off throughout the night. With all the hotel options in Erie, we will probably stay somewhere else next time.

It was clean staff was nice and respectful. Only thing is we didnt have a stove and only one frying pan no pot. Overall we had a better experience than we did at another place.
